Little video of my Buick Electra 76 model Limited and ParkAvenue edition, very rare fully loaded model with bucket seats, AM-FM radio, deluxe center console, sport chrome wheels, all electric package (doors, windows, antenna, trunk, seats), limited-slip differential, til steering wheel, full crushed velours seats, cruise-control, automatic climate control, Buick V8 455 4 barrel engine...

My parents had one. The interior was almost exactly the same. Ours was Brown exterior. I never knew this was GMs longest car at 19 feet. Thanks for the memories.

You are very correct. However, the 1975-1976 Electra was the longest 4dr HARDTOP that GM ever produced. The Fleetwood had a post (B pillar) where the Electra sedan did not

1976 Buick Electra, classiest Buick to ever roll out of Flint,rarely seen today.Built when cars had personality. Better looking than Caddy, personal opinion. Would love to have one!

I had a 75 electra custom sedan for 3 weeks back in september beutiful big boat bought it cheap and sold it to a guy for a nice profit he came from out of state to get it but mine was not near as nice as this one. Keep her in shape man these are sweet rides!

Notice the adjustable speed alarm yellow indicator on the speedometer. It was designed to help you keep your speed down as well as the top speed measured as 100 mph. Most kept the alarm set where it wouldn't go off. I believe this feature was removed not to many model years later. Great rides!

I thought I knew Buicks pretty well but never knew you could get sport mirrors, telescoping wheel, or bucket seats in a Park Avenue. I'd say your car has some extremely rare options. Thanks for posting.

Having that car was the almost the same as having a Cadillac, just one step below. Beautiful, full equipped....They named that car after the Lockeed Electra airplane. 225 was for the length in inches. But the top was the Park Avenue. Same with Olds 98. The top was 98 Regency. Park Avenue and Regency were basically the same cars.

Our neighbors in the seventies had a '76 one of these with the interior exactly the same as this one, only with the exterior the same cream/beige color as the interior. I miss the plush seventies US luxury cars. We had a 1974 Oldsmobile 98 at the same time.

This was Buick's version of the much more costly Cadillac Fleetwood Talisman. It was a large ultra luxurious Fleetwood with 4 place seating and a non operating console in front.

Little update 6 years later! I sold the Buick 2 weeks after this video to a very famous french canadian humorist (who's an asshole), this car wasn't perfect but very very clean and I regret having sold it :/ I now have a 1974 Renault 5 and a 1969 Chrysler 300, maybe I'll find the time to make a video on them ;)

it's not a three-on-the-tree, it's a 3-speed automatic. three-on-the-tree is a manual transmission with a column shift

Not sure why Buick saw fit to put that ugly console in the middle of the front seats. It completely goes against the character of the car. Otherwise a beautiful automobile. Makes modern cars look like cheap toys.
