The interior fabric and tufted upholstery could be used to line a casket. Nice touch with J.S. Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D Minor accompaniment, but seriously I love these half B pillar cars with the expansiveness with windows and doors open and I miss sealed beam headlamps like these. Thanks for sharing.

"Ah: a man after my own heart" !!! "I HAD a 76 Electra" !!!. Like yours it had automatic air, but mine had a "trip-set" speed alert, and a mileage monitor amid the tel-tail lights and of course: the cornering lights ! *It also had a chromed header panel !. I used to love an watch those little 194 bulb's (in the back-up light assy's), "wash-out" ta too a brilliant white upon putting her in reverse. Anyway: all the way down too a mirror thermometer, it had everything !. I know this car so WELL ! "My God yours is BEAUTIFUL" and the last the the big-carthaginian "Gun-Ship's" !. That said: I would think the seat track "foot-print's" are the same, and you'll need ta find a "60" power seat track. So far a a metal cut-out in the existing structures FRAME ?, "I honestly don't know". This era car is my "forte", as I worked at the Flagship Buick Dealer and these cars were VERY common ta see. "The Clocks ALWAYS worked well too" !. Mine was (I'm looking at a pic now), a lite-blue color and you'll NEVER find a better riding car anywhere PERIOD. Wish I could be of more help on the seat, but that's ALL that I know / can remember ... "GOD WHAT A CAR" "beautiful" ... :- )
@stangslayerws66 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words and your reply. I am getting the power seat tracks out of a 1974 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency so I hope it is a straight forward installation. The main difference being that the Oldsmobile has chrome trim at the bottom of the seat that the switch pokes its controls through. I guess I will just pull the seat and see if there is a mounting place already on the manual seat frame. Thanks again. Here is a video of her at a car show with a little better lighting if your interested. THANKS! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnWyi6xth7aZgdE

Could've done without the Tocatta and Fugue music, though! Very cheesy and unnecessary!👎Just to hear that old big block GM engine running is beautiful music to me!😊❤👍It must be a 455? Very nice!

Great car, but it makes it's own beautiful music! I get that both are classics; "Toccata And Fugue In D-Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach is about as classic as you can get. But so is this masterpiece on wheels, so next time, maybe you can let each classic speak for itself, hmm? Just a thought. 😐! 🐰

at the 1:34 mark of this video you see the Buick Emblem on the vinyl top. How do you refurbish these pieces?
@stangslayerws6 Жыл бұрын
There really is no way to refurbish them. Any of them, including hood ornament or trunk lock emblem. They are metal emblems with red, clear and blue plastic glued on top of them. I found NOS ones on eBay The vinyl top emblems are by far the hardest to come across.
@richardg9698 Жыл бұрын
@@stangslayerws6 Not sure what you mean by NOS ones? Sounds like not original parts? Anyways, yes, really tough to find them. I put into search engines Buick Emblems and all you get are hood ornaments. Thank you again for your help. I am learning more and more watching and listening to what you are saying about your cars to learn more about my own. Today watching your Video about the car PARKAVE that its different to the Electra's. Mine must be an Electra limited. Still do not know the difference in the models with the turn signals(?) on the front fenders to which mine does not have them. Thank you Again.

@@richardg9698 NOS means New Old Stock. Basically a 50 year old part that has never been used and is most times still in it's original box. The lights in the fenders on my Park Avenue are cornering lamps. They were optional on all 3 models of Electra in 1976 (Electra 225 which is base model) (Electra Limited) and (Electra Park Avenue) Do you have Facebook? Easier to chat and discuss there
