Walker Valley Part One: Timber Tamer and Ridge Ram

Welcome to our latest video, this time on Walker Valley ORV in Washington state! This video was filmed in October of 2022 when there was an abundance of wildfire smoke in the area.
We entered through the south go-around gate and hit the trails with our Jeep Wrangler, Janet. Along with us were our friends Scott and Jen who had a red Jeep named Roadrunner.
This is part one of our Walker Valley adventure. In this video, we went down two trails: Timber Tamer and Ridge Ram. The former was a challenging trail with rock gardens and a some really tight squeezes, while the latter was a difficult trail which prompted us to take the easier of the entrances. We were excited to test our skills on these trails, and we’re thrilled to share our experience with you!
We want to note that some commentors on our Shorts video are under the misconception that going around the gate is illegal. Here at Walker Valley, the gate is intended to be a literal "Go-Around" gate. These qualifiers were placed by the Washington Department of Natural Resources to prevent vehicles from entering the park that should not be there. The gates themselves allow law enforcement, rescue, and maintenance personnel to enter as needed.
