The day we went to the Ark it was raining. That made for great pictures…pretending the flood was coming. I hope to go back soon. I bought the soundtrack of music being played and play it to remember the experience.

What a beautiful experience! Had no idea how big the Ark was. There would be no way I could do all that walking. I bet a lot of seniors couldn't go there because of mobility issues. So it was nice to see it through your camera, Gary! I'm enjoying your vacation!

If you go to the MIDDLE of the ark, ( not the main entrance) there is and elevator that you can take to go to the top. Then you walk down . You see everything,but yo u don’t have to walk up and back down. OR you can rent a scooter!

We just got back from The Ark and Creation Museum Thursday night. It was absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend everyone go and don't skip the Creation Museum that was actually our FAVORITE! We arrived Saturday about 6pm. On Sunday we went to the Creation Museum and rented one of the electric wheelchairs for $38. Day 2 which was The Ark, we rented TWO. My sister andbI couldn't have made the trip without them. They were a lifesaver and the kids (all r 18+) so maybe not kids anymore loved getting a break from walking and using them.

My husband and I got to visit the ark with our grown kids and we rode scooters and enjoyed the ark very much. Ron passed away 1.5 yrs ago so heaven is teaching him all sorts of history. So glad you got to visit it. It is so big.

Oh thank you for sharing your Ark experience! Visiting this has been on my bucket list since Ken Ham came to Seattle, WA to ask for help to finance this project. It was wonderful meeting him and following the progress since the 1980s, 1990s. I'm glad that you got to enjoy it! During Covid lockdown, I found a video virtual tour of the Ark and it was wonderful! I am nearly crippled and I went and rode on their scooter which cost me $45 to rent a couple of years ago. I also remember that their food was really good at their Buffet.

Wasn’t the Ark AWESOME!!! I felt like your family would enjoy it!! It was so great for me to actually see the enormous size the Bible described. It was so educational for us when we went. We would definitely visit over and over if we could only be closer( it’s a really long drive for us old folks from Virginia but totally worth it!) so glad you were able to see and experience this!!

We LOVE The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Both are amazing! I'm so glad you dear folks were able to go and enjoy. We live fairly close to them and watched them in their developmental stages, and they keep expanding and building new and wonderful things. Y'all come back now, y'hear!

City kids and country kids do see the world in a different light. I dearly loved taking my city brownie girl scout troop to the country farm when we were in military. The frightening look on their faces when the calf wanted to suck on their fingers. Them learning the carrot stick snacks grew under the dirt was fascinating. Of course, the chicken and the eggs was exciting. Glad that you are sharing with all of us. God bless you all.

You could introduce the children to Snake Discovery, Ed and Emily are so knowledgeable. They actually just opened a reptile zoo. They also do educational things for schools and other groups. I was leery of snakes, but they taught me enough to not be afraid of a baby garter snake, and I was tempted to hold it, but I left it alone.
