Never again will I order anything from Huusk! I got soo much spam mail from them after I ordered this knife! And now that I have it, it's just another Chinese 420 stainless steel knife. No special Japanese techniques to build, just a proprietary finish on cheap Chinese steel. And they claim to be razor sharp out of the box. NOPE! I had to sharpen it to be able to shave with it, after I got it. And, it seems, it's not anywhere near the Rockwell 61 that they claim. Likely closer to 52. Too easy to sharpen to be 61 Rockwell. And I have not found a way to add any review onto their system. I see they have a lot, but there's no way to add mine. All that said, yeah, it's likely worth about the +/- $30 I spent on it. Would I buy another? NOPE! Will I recommend it? NOPE!

that looked like so much fun, I loved it when Ransom went under the water and he ask if we were okay when he came back up, and tell Ranger that at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum when he picked up that thing and called it a plunger he wasn't far off but it is a cloths plunger it would help a woman wash her cloths and keep her hands out of the hot water. Great vacation tour! ps. to eat pineapple 🍍 without getting a sore mouth, after removing the rind, rub the pineapple with coarse salt, rinse to remove the salt, and then cut it into pieces to enjoy.

My dad would say with us kids growing up the best thing to do is find a motel with pool and McDonald’s next to it. That would make kids happy and wouldn’t have to do anything else! Lol of course my parents always had stuff planned out tho. We would have full fun day. Wish I could go back to those times!! Miss my dad. Keep making memories. The kids will always remember them!!

I have a funny story about visiting that historic site with my kids and Leaving my KEYS on the table when I put them down to sign the guest book! The curator was apparently anxious to get home that day, and locked the buildings up in a hurry as we were heading to out car to load up kids. She took off down the road before I realized that I did not have my keys! We ended up having to remove a broken piece of the glass in the small cabin window near the table and used a stick to pull the keys near enough for a skinny little arm to reach inside and grab the keys! Whew! What a relief because i was alone with my kids that day and was visiting from Chicago! I've never lived that down as my kids remember that we VANDALIZED the Little House on the Prairie!! LOL!!! So glad you had a fun time there and didn't leave your keys! God Bless you all!

@@WalkerFarmFamI felt so Guilty about VANDALIZING The Little House on the Prairie, that I dug though my purse and wrote a little note and threw in about a dollar twenty five and put it into their donation box! lol, very funny memory! We LOVED the Little House books, I read them all aloud to my kids during our home schooling years. It was very fun to actually see it. (It was I think May of 1988)

Independence also has a nice zoo/rides at Riverside Park and Ralph Mitchell Zoo. Check your map out......I live in Arcadia Right on the Kansas/Missouri border in SE Kansas.

I use to live in Liberal, KS…the home of the International Pancake and Wizard of Oz(with the real Yellow Brick Road and Dorothy’s House). They have festivals for both and the Aeronautics Museum with WWII planes. You need to go at some point…the SW corner of Kansas. Good luck! Another place I lived was McPherson, KS, where there is an antique auto museum.

Just watching your poor kids trying to skate. I think 75% of their troubles were the skates needed to be sharpened! Their pool legs will probably be tired. Gotta say they did an awesome job regardless! (27years of teaching figure skating, so that just my opinion). So good to that they were so happy to try skating again.
