Champlain Place (French: Place Champlain), also known as Champlain Mall and corporately styled as CF Champlain, is a shopping centre located in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada. It is the largest single-building shopping centre in Atlantic Canada by floor space.
The mall has over 150 stores and services. The anchor tenants are Walmart, Sobeys, Toys "R" Us, Sport Chek, H&M, Urban Planet and Linen Chest.
The site began as a Sears store; however, in 1974, it was expanded to include Champlain Place Shopping Centre, including where Walmart is now (then Woolco) and to the west (then Dominion and Consumers Distributing). Champlain Place is named after Samuel de Champlain, a French explorer of the region.

Cadillac Fairview (CF) is a leading semi high end mall property group in Canada similar to Simon property group in your country USA.

They really seem to do a great job managing their malls. That mall was nicer than about 98% of the Malls here in the United States. We have so many dead malls, it is depressing seeing so many small businesses failing (so many stores are going out of business nowadays).

@@TheAdventureSchmuck Just look at the massive Asian malls..all the US stores and brands pulled out and went there..

Yeah lm in Michigan..same mall decline..number one sadly and now even more they simply became theft symbols and targets for that crowd. The 80s mall scene disappeared with the 90s and into the crime and grime they are now. But l think that new Jersey mall and mall of America are Canadian owned and in chapter 11 or were. Dont know what they were thinking...that desirable traffic is long gone in the US at least..theyre all online.

Exactly. Amazon has basically destroyed all our malls in the same way iTunes wiped out music CD's. I know a few former small business owners who watched their stores / entire livelihood collapse. Americans just aren't very dependable to support local businesses. When these huge malls originally opened, they wiped out the small downtown stores as they went to the malls instead. Now online retailers have basically wiped out any stores we had left at the newer malls. Apparently, Gen Z are huge fans of malls... so at least the ones we have left should survive.
