Joanna Connor and The Wrecking Crew performing the song "Walking Blues" on The Extended Play Sessions. National and International accolades in the press and radio media resulted into a decade of world tours, a dozen recordings on Ruf Records, MC Records and others, a documentary on Germany’s WDR Television, and a multitude of TV appearances and radio features. Joanna Connor has earned her stripes...as a player, a singer, a writer and a top notch bandleader.

The Fallout Shelter is an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offering one of the most unique live music experiences in New England. Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advocating for traditional American Roots music.

Everything about this performance is 100% honest to God great! From their instruments (nice Strat and LesPaul) to the talented musicians playing them... btw they are squeezing everything out of a relatively plain (but good) blues song... this is Joe Bonamassa good IMHO 👍

I was at Kingston Mines club a few years ago and she was the house band! Awesome show, ironically enough I met her daughter in law serving at a bar earlier in the day. We had an Uber driver earlier in the day and asked where to go for the best blues experience in Chicago, Kingston Mines!

Bin ich froh einen der Väter (neben Alexis Korner) des britischen Blues live gesehen zu haben. Bei einem der Väter des Blues überhaupt, hatte ich nicht soviel Glück. Ich hatte das Ticket schon in der Tasche. Leider ist er dann krank geworden und gestorben - John Lee Hooker! 😢
