I loved how at the end when Judith said Do you think it’ll leave a scar Michonne said No but it’s okay if it does Kinda symbolizes that you can overcome your internal scars and they aren’t your end You just embrace em and learn from em.

Michonne (Danai Gurira) needs more praise She’s one of the few actors beside Rick (Andrew Lincoln) that can perform well in physical and dramatic acting She also performs many of her own stunts and she’s a trained samurai warrior.

She's basically the female face of The Walking Dead. I know, Maggie and Carol came first and were very important too, but she's the only one to be equal of main character role with Rick

Certain episodes of the show. Example, when Maggie c sectioned Lori she almost quit. When Carol had to take care of Lizzie she almost quit. This episode, AMC hired the best psychiatrist and psychologist to talk with the kids just to make sure they completely understand and no trauma. They ( cast and crew) really IMO go for whatever is best, a REAL family

This episode was insane! Explains why Michonne was so distant. Shoutout to Daryl. Even though he's part the reason Rick had to blow the bridge up, he was the only person to really stay by Michonnes side in every aspect. The only character besides Michonne to never give up on Rick The fact that Michonne had to kill kids was insane. Just a brutal moment in TWDU.

Lori and Shane moved on from Rick after a few weeks. Michonne and Daryl never moved on. The woman who played Jocelyn, Rutina Wesley from True Blood, was one of the last ones in the audition process for Michonne alongside Soniqua Martin-Green (Sasha) and Danai Gurira. It was even falsley reported before Danai's announcement that Rutina had landed the role. So the idea that Joceleyn and Michonne go way back has real world meaning too.

In fairness the atmosphere between Daryl/Shane and Michonne/Lori is different. For 1 their world was ending for the 2nd they're living in a better one.

Every time I see this episode it reminds me of all the child warriors in the world fighting for some greedy warlord Sickening These kids were brainwashed and not at fault which makes it all the sadder that Michonne had to kill them And having to live with it created a much deeper scar on her soul than any branding iron could make.

Michonne’s friendship with Jocelyn is like Rick’s friendship with Shane They trusted them based on that alone and it hurt them and others because of it Michonne became a dictator like Rick did in Season 3 as a result.

I love how they cut the scene between the kids and the walkers so you never see a kid bite the dust It’s all implied by seeing what Michonne does to the walkers It was brilliantly edited.

Daryl came out late because he killed some children inside of the building his knives were bloody It’s crazy because Jocelyn was there for Michonne when her mom died back when there was a world In my opinion she was more than just a friend more like a sister Daryl and Michonne were both traumatized and I feel so bad for them.

This was an amazing episode I was so shocked and horrified Jocelyn was freaking crazy and obviously so were the kids for her to turn on her friend and wanting to kill Michonne who was heavily pregnant was unbelievable and disturbing love the Daryl/Judith Michonne/Judith scenes also Fun Fact The Whisperer who says we must tell Alpha is played by Emma Coulter her father Steve Coulter played Reg Monroe Deanna’s husband who was killed by Pete Anderson in the Season 5 finale.

It makes complete perfect sense for why Michonne stopped trusting everything and everyone Having your best friend turn on you along with kids Also the boy who cut her stomach is dead The one that ran off was the youngest girl Winnie who was told to kill the kids and decided not to before she saw the rest was dead then saw they was and ran.

I remember when Season 4 episode 14 aired and Carol killed Lizzie I never thought that this show would leave me as disturbed and shocked or give me that feeling of I can’t believe they took things in that direction ever again Yet 5 years later and they actually one upped themselves Kudos to Angela Kang and Corey Reed And Vivian Tse for putting together this masterpiece Throughout the Season I was always annoyed with the way Michonne had been acting as if her family in different communities were strangers But considering she let someone in who was family to her and all the things that transpired the way they did well I now completely understand why she was acting how she was I’m glad they were able to make it make as much sense as it did Great reactions as always Jason And Chance.
