WALKING: Downtown Corvallis, Oregon at Sunset

In this video we walk through the Downtown of Corvallis Oregon. Corvallis is located approximately 80 miles south west of Portland with a population of around 60,000.
"Corvallis is a city and the county seat of Benton County in central western Oregon, United States.[6] It is the principal city of the Corvallis, Oregon Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Benton County. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 59,922.[3] Corvallis is the location of Oregon State University and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Did you do this on the date posted? Because Monday at sunset is probably the deadest time you could pick, with nearly all stores closed as well as probably 2/3 of restaurants closed Mondays. Still a nice walk but looks like kind of a ghost town at that time.

I've been actually admitted to OSU and will be moving here this fall. I've heard Corvallis is kinda busy-ish because of all the college students and it being a college town. However, it looks kinda lonely in this video. Any plausible reason for that you might know? Or is it always like this?

This was a weekday night, maybe the actual campus was busier. Downtown does have more people out and about during the day and weekends. Stay tuned we'll be going back soon for a walking video of the campus and another downtown walk during a busier time!

Where was the pictures of Oregon State University? The school is part of Corvallis. Your photos would have been more interesting if you of included OSU. THAT SCHOOL is part of Corvallis and would of been more interesting to see the university.
