This brings back my childhood memories. However, the metro subway system is new. The Russian influence came in two distinct waves, one from the old China over 100 years ago, the other came from the 1950s. The old historical city heritage district is from the old. It seems city’s preservation efforts are excellent.

我生在哈尔滨并在那里长大。几十年没回去了，非常怀念。记忆最深的就是市中心的那个神秘莫测的喇嘛台，以及秋林公司，马科西姆大药房，省博物馆，哈尔滨老站，霁虹桥，道里中央大街，华梅餐厅，防洪记念塔，江上俱乐部餐厅和太阳岛.......。哈尔滨变化很大，但基本保持原有的建筑风格，难得可贵。除了建筑之外，哈尔滨的语言文化也有独到之处。记得小时就读的小学，学校里根本就没有专职的体育老师，但孩子们在球场上却满口“洋话”。比如，后卫叫“打嘎”(guard)，前锋叫“打for”（forward），争球叫"架姆"(jump) ，出界叫"奥赛“（outside).哈尔滨话里”外来语“太多了.......。

老一辈的哈尔滨人都知道，哈尔滨有很多外来语。大家熟知的布拉吉（连衣裙），列巴（面包），喂得罗（一种口大底小的小水桶），哈拉绍（好）等，这些来自俄语。还有如马神（缝纫机，machine），把当官的称戈必丹（captain），平头百姓称骚哒子（soldier）等，这都来自英语。再如菓匣子（点心盒），电匣子（收音机），戏匣子（留声机），照像匣子（照相机）等，这些可能和日语有关。

Thank you for your kind response. Actually watching HDR in premium TVs like Samsung 9 series (ex: QN90B, S90C ) , LG OLED TVs is quite good. I enjoy your HDR videos. I user your channel as demo to the friends and family and every one is blown out by the quality of your videos. I have several of my friends who watch your videos in LG OLED and Samsung 9 series TVs are all quite addicted to your walks. People who don't want to see videos in HDR can find alternate solutions like turn off HDR. Your videos are going to stay here forever on this channel. Few years from now, all low-end and high-end HDR TVs will improve and people enjoy your videos even more. I sincerely hope you will reconsider and upload them in HDR.
