Thank you, Ross. I’m going to explore Brymbo on a future video. Hook Norton has some very fascinating history.🙂

Some excellent history here Ron. I didn't know that the Earl of Dudley restored Worcester Cathedral. Fascinating stuff, and thank you for producing this most excellent video. Cheers, Paul 🙂👍

Thank you for your effort in producing this informative video. These scenes were the background to my childhood. I can remember the branch off the main line and when it was reduced to a siding. There were a lot of quarry faces around the area. Near to the area you have covered was a small lake which we kids called Blackybarn. I don’t know whether that was associated with the steam machinery. Thanks for taking an interest in this history. Graham.

Many thanks for your kind comments, Graham. There is a small ‘pond’ close to the old kiln site and was most probably a water supply for the steam engine. I would like to see photos of the other infrastructure, but, I don’t know if such photos exist. Whoever cleared the site certainly did a thorough job, that’s for sure. Cheers, Ron.
