I got it early and it's definitely a good game for Star Wars fans. It has a lot of little details only real fans enjoy. There's was a bunch of bugs in my playthrough, but it wasn't anything game breaking, like Nix teleporting to gather materials instead of running. The graphics are exactly what you'd expect from a modern game, especially on a good PC, and in console, it runs at 60 fps and turning off film grain enhanced the performance, which was kinda weird but it works. The controls are very smooth and there's lots of customization options like minimal HUD, tuing off guidance like enemy alert icons and yellow markers for a more immersive experience. For me, it's a solid 7/10 game overall and I'm not even a serious Star Wars fan.

Absolutely loving this game. For a fan there's so many Easter eggs. I'm playing it with wide-screen mode and it adds so much to the vibe. Was thrilling to do that first space battle and then try and escape imperial cruiser, shut down the anti grav drive and use it to escape to another planet.

I would rate a bit higher for the gameplay . Good physics ( especially ragdolls, so often badly done ) are important to me, in order to "feel" the game . I also hate when the main character is almost invincible ( potions, being gunshot multiple times , even in the head , and still running like there was nothing special. Or ward off attacks from gigantic monster with a simple shield... i mean, zero immersion ans credibility to my eyes. I lose then interest because i know i will easily beat the game with these unavoiding cheats). Just my taste 👍

@@naitorain well, when the elder scroll games ( especially from Morrowind to Skyrim ) came out, i undestand it could have been highly rated ( and Musics 👍). But it's definitly technically old nowadays ( not talking about mods ) on many levels. And the worse to me is Starfield, which makes critics about Outlaws even funnier in comparison ( Starfield : NPCs so badly done, animated, organized and so on ) , cities also badly done to my eyes, lightnings, even fights ... Anyway , it's also a matter of taste. But what is clear , it's the fact that they still using the same engine since at least Skyrim. Of course , there wasn't such an amount of caricatural hating ( fortunately ). Without knowing exacctly, there are several reasons for Outlaws treatment , but it also could partly be some hidden intolerance to , for example, a non fully american company ( i can tell you this kind of crazy " reason" exists in the movie show business, as far i as went through it for a part of my life ), like it's recently with Wukong before its release. But it's not the case for every blinded hater, of course. I guess some people just need to hate where it's not socially dangerous to do so. There were always " the good racism " and " the bad racism " in human societies ( sadly ). Even when the form changes, it's not New. Anyway, i personally love the choices they made ( and some risks they took ) in this game ( and no game is perfect, anyway 🤔😉 ) ...

Yes and but initially no, initially they seem not to but you'll quickly learn that there is a bunch of hidden side content in the cities alongside content that is not available until you've reached certain story beats or discovered some critical piece of information out in the world or in the cities. Actions you've made also sometimes opens up different new side content. Don't want to spoil but I can say at-least that I was pleasantly surprised by how much content Mos Eisley and Mirogana had for example, The other two main cities also had plenty of content alongside hidden content but not nearly as much in comparison. Also remember that as the game and story progresses new things will open up, new interactions and missions will be available and some background conversations in cities will change based on events that transpire.

Doing this as a game in 2025 is very obviously a piece of cake. It should be in VR sterioscopic. All that needs to happen, is Bezos saying (and Meaning) he will get it done by summer. The price should be the actual market value, which if it isn't fixed by non-competition between colluding companies/individualos, etc.-- would then be about $160. to vend on steam. No corners cut. As good as would be indicated if you stop and do most anything within the construct. Might the price be more? Depending on the competition in a REAL MARKET...yes, absolutely!!! But the value to all would be available, and that is leadership. That is what a "Brand" is supposed to be all about, folks.😉 Call it ... "The AmaZone". There can then be sales within the construct, absent immediate price labels, which would transform it into a "street vendor" rainbow of possibilities. This monitizes the whole thrust of realization. Holy unpolished hell. Lots of graphical issues. The water looks insanely retro. AI has a lot of unique movements but it still feels lifeless. Do the AI actually do anything that affect gameplay? Just looks like Disneyland, props but nothing else. No one actually shopping. Repairing the same vehicles over and over and over without success. No one is actually eating, just staring at the robot cook. And the one person eating is not actually consuming anything, the bowl never empties. Super unrealistic plantlife movement. Wind effects seem to make everything in sight move the same exact way (wind moves objects differently). Cmon it’s 2024, the age of AI. I like the “idea” but it needs to be finished… looks like a beta.
