I always imagined the Atlantis stuff was a fun follow on for the team that had worked on the AC Odyssey. After spending all that time recreating ancient Greek architecture they got to have some fun building this huge beautiful sci-fi fantasy city and all the other crazy environments in this DLC.

I was kind of disappointed with Atlantis in this game. While every other location had discernable locations and objects---homes, shops, temples, etc---Atlantis was just a random maze of walkways and stone monoliths without any function or meaning. It was pretty to look at, but that's all.

The sort of otherworldly and futuristic lines of the masonry go well with the ancient furniture, not at all anachronistic. Looks almost like something out of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Works really well. Would love to visit.

A walking journey through the world of Atlantis exploring and archiving for historical purposes for the future to show that Atlantis was a very prosperous city and will one day become a rich city and will be the place that the rest of the world will stand up and take notice of but there has been rumors that Atlantis will be doomed by the soothayers that we will not have a future and if that is the case then I will have to go by foot traveling and archiving before it is too late so if you don't hear anymore from me that means that we won't be around for the future after all be there will archives, records, and information about Atlantis and we will not disappear without knowledge of our existence in this world and some of our brethren have left Atlantis for other lands and they will carry on for us who will not survive not sure how our demise will come about will it be a flood from the violent ocean waves or the volcanoes nearby erupting and wiping us out or a great storm opening up from the heavens or some unknown force coming to invade us and to annihilate us from existence and then I won't stop until I've cataloged everything and I have brought along with me my weaponry to protect me from the parts of Atlantis that I'm not acquainted with or have ever been to before and plenty of food and water.... It's been seven years now that I've been working and doing this and I need three more months and then everything will be archived and I probably will be on the far edge of Atlantis by then and that is where I will retire so thus everyone will remember Atlantis. (!nonitpickingplease!). 📃✍

The tree possible locations of Atlantis are the richat circle or the Great blue hole. Since the area surrounding the richat circle used to be a lush green vegetation area then the richat circle located in modern day Mauritania is a good candidate for being were Atlantis actually stood.

Beautiful, only Atlantis is not a fairytale land, it really existed. Atlantis was the first civilization created by the Anunnaki. At that time, it was one of the largest metropolises, just as we now have London, Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. Then there was Lemuria, Atlantis, etc... They hide a lot from us.

The egyptian monks tell him that greeks have short memory and forgot their past(something along these lines) , but the egyptian priests kept records that have been kept safe with them. Atlantis is referenced being started by Poseidon and continued by his sons, and it elaborates on some customs of the place, and how the land of mass looked liked
