As a person of colour who works for one of the most wokest organisation in the uk 🇬🇧 I feel empowered to continue to challenge critical race theory ideologies and DEI whereever it presents its self. Oh, by the way, I have a little sisterly suggestion (NOT a criticism!) -- it has become colloquial to say "guys" in addressing groups of people, and I'm certainly no feminist, but I'm wondering if in our current gender-minimizing, gender-confused culture, perhaps you might consider addressing guests in this situation as "ladies." Really great discussion ❤ On the subject of multi-generational reparations not being a subject addressed in scripture, a situation came to mind that I was hoping you could take a look at and give your feedback on. I just did a bit of research and though the Israelites lived in the land of Egypt peacefully for about half of their actual time there, more than half that time was spent in increasingly more restricted freedom, slavery and harsh treatment. When the Israelites were freed, and led out of Egypt by Moses, it would appear that the Egyptian populace themselves sent the Israelites with what could appear to be reparations, or at the very least provisions as noted in Exodus 12:34. I'm not certain what multi-generational looked like back then as people did live much longer than we do today, but would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this situation as it pertains to reparations. I do agree with and understand your argument that people who were far removed and in no way perpetrating an offense or victims of an offense should not be the parties responsible to make reparations or receive reparations. That seemed like a solid biblical truth. I haven't yet listened to the entire podcast, but I'm hoping you do cover addressing present day injustices as believers, as God tells us to love mercy and do justice. This would also be a great discussion breaking this down. Thank you ❤ Great point. Don't wait for the govt! As the Holy Spirit leads, YOU do something, love it!

One thing that hasn't been preached and taught to America is repentance. Look at the country right now. This has happened because America has refused to make right the wrong it had done. I think I disagree with some of the points made by Krista and Monique. But maybe it’s just semantics? There is beauty in all the different “races” God made. Also, there is “racial reconciliation” in Christ and in Him alone. A person who was once racist comes to Christ and is a new creation in Christ, they are able to “reconcile” with their brothers and sisters in Christ by being unified in Christ, they are able to do things they were not able to do before, like love their brothers and sisters in Christ and those they once hated. Love you Becket! ❤ Keep fighting the good fight of faith! Your amazing!

Unfortunately, they have significant misunderstanding of what “systemic racism” is. It isn’t ‘racism within a system’ or the idea that all systems are racist. It is the idea that a system created by a particular race (usually white) will have existential, implicit biases because it will use the cultural rules and norms of the people who created it. The problem with this idea is that it systemic racism is almost impossible to see so they just have faith that it’s there.
@Lilalalalalallllla3 ай бұрын
That is a proposterous sweeping slanderous accusation..every single country or "system" within a country was founded by people of that race. You don't think they have biases in other countries where other races have dominated?? Literally most countries have more issues with racism and prejudice than the U.S. Most other countries don't let that many minorities in so it might not be as clear, but it's also just something far away from most of our accusers in the U.S. Your raciam toward white people is showing.."You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye." Matthew 7:5 Titus 1:10-16 [10] For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. [11] They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. [12] One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” [13] This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, [14] not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth. [15] To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. [16] They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work. bible.com/bible/59/tit.1.10-16.ESV "
