Walking Jersey - Bouley Bay to Les Platons (Part 4)

@thereluctantoutdoorsman Tom (from The Reluctant Outdoorsman channel) is again accompanied by Paddy the cockapoo on a virtual hike, this time from Bouley Bay to Les Platons on the North coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. The video was filmed on Monday, 18th. March 2024. This one and a half hour walk is going to be broken up into four parts, with this being the final part, Part 4. Tom and Paddy are filming walking the entire coast of the island in both directions and this is another section covered in an anti-clockwise direction.

I enjoy these virtual walks on Sunday afternoons in Australia. I wish I had done more when I lived in Jersey for a year in 1964! Well done. The scenery is amazing and a lovely reminder for me, especially St Brelade's Bay. Thank you

Great views Tom, but I do have my heart in my mouth quite a few times. Sorry you had a fall. You were obviously tired and like you said inappropriate foot wear. Lesson learned. Stay safe and keep these great videos coming.

I’m glad you made it to the end Tom. Would you say the return journey was tougher than the other way. I didn’t hear you complaining too much on the way out, but then did you turn around with not much rest and decide there and then to walk back. As I have said a few times you’re much fitter now and take it in your stride. I’m going to predict you will reach 1 k by Christmas, a nice Christmas present 🎁. Cheers 🏌🏻‍♂️& 🐕‍🦺.

Hi Nic and I hope you are having a lovely, chilled out Sunday with your feet up! After reaching Bouley Bay, Paddy and I turned straight around and headed back....which was a mistake! I should of had a cuppa at the half way stage! The subscriber numbers were going the wrong way for a week, or so, but we seem to be kicking on again, so Christmas still looks possible! 🎅🏼🎄👍🏼😁

Hi Judy, I actually landed on Paddy's lead handle and gave myself a bang in the ribs! It was sore for a couple of weeks but after that I was fighting fit again and wearing walking boots at every opportunity! 😁
