Moscow sure has changed a lot and diversified since I was a kid there. It was cool and artsy then, too, but it's a lot more racially diverse than it was in the 90s and 2000s. I never got to experience this part of Moscow growing up because I was too poor and religiously sheltered, but I did play in the fountain downtown as a kid before the water park opened in the 2000s. I wish to see this part of Moscow again when I can make a trip there on my own for a visit. I don't want to live here, but it reminds me of certain parts of Portland with it's artsy vibe--definitely for families, though.
