When I lived in Queens in the 50's and 60's the walk you are taking has always been one of my favorites, with friends and visitors. It works in either direction, you see so much in a relatively short time.

Very cool! It's an iconic route and you do see so much!

The very first walk I ever took in New York City back in 1991 was more or less this - from 5th Avenue Station on the N/R to Rockefeller Center to Times Square. I eventually ended up living in NYC for most of the 1990s. Miss it greatly - will be visiting in January!

When I took my young children around that area, it was extremely difficult to find a restroom, most restaurants would not allow you to use theirs unless you came in to eat. The Plaza hotel, as luxurious as it was, never failed to allow us to use there's. They knew small children "got to go!

@Jurgen Rathjen Agree! Department stores can also be a good place for this type of "break". 🚽🧼❣

The restroom situation in New York is difficult and challenging at times. It always feels like you need to search for them.

Hello, we have a trip from Spain to New York for November 8 and my wife, due to having passed the covid, has the complete vaccination schedule of Spain 1/1 from pfizer, but it seems that the American government does not contemplate the 1/1 guideline as complete. Can we travel? Thank you
@rocktron243 жыл бұрын
From November 8, visitors from the UK and the EU need to be Double Vaccinated against Covid19 and must produce proof of a Negative Test for Covid 19 taken 72 hours before travel. Visitors may also need to complete a Locator Form. Check the rules which apply to your country.
