I walk through Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn.

"Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a residential neighborhood in the Flatbush area of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The community is bounded by Empire Boulevard (formerly Malbone Street) to the north, Clarkson Avenue to the south, New York Avenue to the east, and Ocean Avenue/Prospect Park to the west. Prospect Lefferts Gardens was designated a NYC Landmark area in 1979 and called the Prospect Lefferts Gardens Historic District.
The neighborhood contains an ethnically diverse community with a largely Caribbean-American and African-American population.[5] Since the 2000s, Prospect Lefferts Gardens has been gentrifying quickly. Real estate development has increased and new residents from other groups have increased.
Prospect Lefferts Gardens is part of Brooklyn Community District 9, and its primary ZIP Code is 11225. It is patrolled by the 71st Precinct of the New York City Police Department. Politically it is represented by the New York City Council's 40th District."

Finally, my neck of the woods! That big building near the 5 minute mark used to be a bakery, the aroma of fresh baked bread was amazing when i was a kid

Thank you action kid. You did one of my top favorite neighborhoods in Brooklyn, prospect park lefferts gardens. I call it prospect park the urban side. A few weeks or few months ago you did a video of prospect park on the suburban side, near prospect park west, union st, Carol st. Etc. Keep it up, cover prospect park and flatbush Avenue more. I've walked down from flatbush Avenue and nostrand Avenue to church Avenue and nostrand Avenue many times. It's not as busy as the areas you covered in this video but a nice long walk and exercise.

Grew up there it use to be a beautiful community, kids playing outside, block parties in front of our brownstones and apartments until Gentrification hit this area dramatically. What was once a beauty salon and a Caribbean restaurant is now a coffee shop. Pretty much park slope now. Miss the old PLG
