53:47 Fruit streets are Cranberry, Pineapple and Orange streets, thus giving the sitting area its name. You likely missed the other two. My favorite neighborhood in Brooklyn, hands down. After a few years away, I am finally a resident again. Thanks for taking the time to share this beauty with the world.

Also Willow St. One story is that the wealthy Miss Middagh, annoyed by rich neighbors naming their streets, substituted generic fruits and trees. See: streeteasy.com/blog/brooklyn-heights-fruit-streets-named-cranberry-pineapple-orange. I rented a room there as a poor Bklyn Polytech student.

Very nice video of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO.. The Clock Tower Building at 1 Main Street was where i worked for 10 yrs before it became a condominium. The actor, Jim Carrey actually owns the penthouse clock tower apartment. The best neighborhood in all of Brooklyn is right there...Brooklyn and Columbia Heights...including DUMBO. Best to visit the promenade at just before sunset or after dark to see the lights of the city sparkle.; same can be said of walking along the Brooklyn Bridge ..Keep up with the nice videos.

Thanks for the video! I've been in Dumbo when I was visiting NYC in 2017 and trained at the Gleasons gym. Nice to see the surrounding and York Street Subway station again

Wow, that was just awesome, A.K.! I really like your narrated videos. They are so informative. I have mentioned it before, but watching your videos (narrated or not) make me feel like I was there with you. I feel like I have been walking through the city, while just sitting here at home. Thank you so much!

Great video thanks. Brings back memories from a couple of years ago of getting the east side ferry to DUMBO, walking around, getting some food and then walking over the Brooklyn bridge at night back into Manhattan

I love your voice and accent, I'm from England and we have the most varied and distinct regional accents. Definatly my favourite US accent is New Yorks. I love that strong accent. As much as yours isnt as strong, it's still apparent, I love how you say Brooklyn, I could listen to it all day.

Great tour!!-brought back memories when I was a Field Rep back in the 90's-one of my accounts was LI Collage Hospital, now closed sadly amongst many CMC Hospitals in Brooklyn. I would stop at the many great food locations & restaurants on Atlantic Ave & Montigue Street. Thanks for the upload!

Cadman Plaza is the weirdest park in the city. All that space and there's never anyone there. Maybe a small lunch crowd. Drab looking. Has looked exactly the same since the 80's.
