'Walking on eggshells’: Steve Price slams PM for census backflip

Sky News host Steve Price says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “walking on eggshells trying to keep everyone happy”.
Faced with a rebellion in Labor ranks - the Prime Minister has reversed his position on a new question on sexuality in the census but has refused to call it a backdown.
“We are in the middle of a cost of living crisis ... record housing prices, stubborn interest rate levels, expensive power bills despite what Labor tells you, grocery prices through the roof, businesses collapsing on a daily basis and your government is worried about whether to ask has your sexual identity changed since the last census,” Mr Price said.

News i have a question regarding digital ID.. on behalf of the people.. Cant you question our government re the digitaisation of everything. Going paperless etc.. Its discriminatory.. Eg.. I haven't got a liscence.. if i go apply does this mean i have to own a phone to have an I.d?.. And if so what about those who do not own mobile phones?.. I know quite a few people who dont own phones. I know a few Illiterate PEOPLE as well as elderly who haven't got a clue how to email and all this.. Plus a lot of phones dont have capacity for full on technology on it . Especially the poorer people who have crap phones. Not everyone owns i phones with constant data in it..
