@@23razor4 as a Marine I'm saying he's not. You aren't a Marine unless you finish the Crucible or accept your commission as an officer. There is no wiggle room here. It would be the same thing for me if I almost got through boot camp and quitting ,or being kicked out for whatever reason, before getting my Eagle Globe and Anchor. No, I went to boot camp and failed, therefore I am not a Marine just because I went to Parris Island or MCRD San Diego. And I don't look down on Badger for that. Ultimately I see the same great strength of character to refuse commission into the USMC as he would have if he had accepted it. And I admire him for it. But as I said, there is no wiggle room. You either got commissioned or got your EGA and became a Marine, or you didn't.
