Does the pretzel place still do the pretzels on a stick dipped in hot fudge? Those were my favorites growing up. I remember getting them every time we went. If not that, then the steak restaurant that used to be in the one corner. I also remember getting my ears pierced at Claire's across from the pretzel place. I sure do miss it. Also went to the female gym and the library when they were there. Haven't been there since we moved away in the early 1980's.

@@vondabloemer6255 I don't think the pretzel places do the hot fudge anymore. At least not that I know of (sounds wild though). Was the steak restaurant Ruby Tuesdays? Or maybe the Brown Derby? Those haven't been there for a long time though. I think that spot was recently converted into an Italian place. Claire's is still there but not sure if it's the same location as before. Wow I didn't start going til the late 80s. Don't remember the gym at that point

@@jdr4503 It was down a side hall and had a hair salon by it. Not sure the name of the steakhouse but remember going through like a cafeteria line to pick what you wanted. It definitely was not Ruby Tuesday. It was in a corner of the main hall way on the opposite end from Sears.

@@jdr4503 The Claire's and the pretzel place were across the hall from each other. I know that for sure because when I was getting my ears pierced, I was looking to the back of Claire's. After it was done I woke up on the floor facing the pretzel place. Yep, I passed out and fell off the stool.

@@vondabloemer6255 in that case, maybe the Claire's is in the same spot because there is a pretzel place across from it . . . And whoa I've heard of people passing out from that. That's crazy!
