In one day you captured so much and made a well edited vlog. Admittedly there was so much more to be seen but for one day, wow!

Thank you! :) We tried to squeeze in as much as we could! That was actually two days, but that second day was really quite busy. We’re coming back to see more next year!

Outstanding! An amazing video of this totally awesome City....Edinburgh! You both captured the mystical ambience, charm & truly thrilling spirit of this incredible City!! You also showed many places in Edinburgh that I have not seen in any other videos! Totally unique, quirky, as well as captivating locations! The food also looked absolutely delicious & made my mouth water! Wonderful! Thank you both for sharing this unique & delightful experience!

Thank you for this beautiful video about my home city! 🎥 you captured its dreaminess well 🙏 what I see everyday becomes normal and it good to be reminded how spectacular it is through new eyes! You went passed my home several times; I live in the heart of Edinburgh in one of those old buildings you love so much! Cheerio 👋🏻 🙏🧡

We’ve had that thought many times when we travel. “Living somewhere like this must be so normal to the residents here.” It’s hard to fathom. But then when we go back to our home state and see the beauty of the Great Lakes, endless forests, and spectacular sunsets and realize that our “normal” would be really wonderful to someone visiting for the first time too. We’re so happy that you enjoyed our video and truly can’t wait to come back to your beautiful city. :)

I just found your Vlog. You guys are great and do such a wonderful job taking all of us on your journey. Alex, your photography is above most Vlogs. You frame things like a pro. The music choices are fantastic. Thank you for showing me Edinburgh. Now, I need to get there myself. Travel safely.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We love traveling and so many of the places we go speak for themselves. We hope to offer people an opportunity to see some places they might not otherwise see, and hopefully encourage them to go there themselves. You’ll love Edinburgh!

if a town or city or country hits you that hard to bring you to tears to leave ,then you know your heart and soul should be there,and edinburgh is where her heart and soul lies by the looks of it ,and im an englishman .

just watching the end, i thought it was so lovely, some tears shed, she felt her history, not just looked at it. she felt it through emotions and body as we all do as british, whether your from 4 home countries, there is some heritage, even linkd to americans, i will post another comment to give you some prospective

I have watched quite a view travel vlogs of my home city but this one is the best by miles. It is very professional, beautifully shot and the accompanying music and commentary are absolutely spot on. You showed the city in such a positive light and I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit. The Scottish Tourist Board should offer you big bucks to use this in it’s entirety. Haste ye back. 🏴

There's a Frankenstein's monster-themed Wetherspoon pub in the English town of Bournemouth. It's called The Mary Shelley and has a replica of Boris Karloff's head on the sign outside. Shelley's heart (but not the rest of her) is buried in the churchyard opposite the pub.
@PinterWhitnick Жыл бұрын
We’re gonna have to check that out!! That’s so creepy that her heart is buried separately!

Fantastic vlog i used to go to Edinbrugh as a kid alot to see my odd family there and hated it. Im from near Glasgow, my brother lives near Edinburgh and i love it. Coming from a Clan does link you to the past, i can trace my family back to the 700's, im a Lamont the 3rd most massicard Clan, our Clans sighn is problomatic but great story behind it.

Two beautiful cities in our (limited) experience. We’re so excited to go back to Scotland next year to see more. We’re bringing family along with us too! We’ve done a bit of digging at it turns out Alex has a pretty recent connection to the Nichol Clan too.

Please do a car trip up the West coast its stunning and you will be shocked to see Palm trees along the front of the village called Plockton its fantastic all up there. There are old spooky stories about Loch Carron that freeked me out a Fer Sayer ( a man who could see the future) went there in the 1500s and predicted 3 things thay all came true. One was a monster will come over the mountins and grow in the Loch. They make Oil Rigs there, what a monster.@@PinterWhitnick

Leslie Castle is in Aberdeenshire ( which also has many other castles) and did you know that the daughter of the chieftan of clan Leslie and owner of the castle is Rose Leslie,who played Ygritte in Game of Thrones and is married to Kit Harington who played Jon Snow. Must be a relation !

My mother used to teach family history, please dont take this the wrong way america was founded in 1776 as we all know, my mother in the UK traced my family, mothers sons daughters amrriages to the 1400's she stuck getting passed that, as she traced us back to ireland, but because of the conflict many reacords were destroyed in the bomings, she cant get back any further great video, great emotion, what ever she does, she will never forget scotland, for her life wonderful video. come back, live here, get your sctots accents, husbant in the kilt, ask is he wearing anything under the kilt also watching you guys have a drink, we are through the countries of the UK drinkers with the best pub culture in the world come back soon, your welcome, last of all, KAYLEIGH and ALEX great british names xxxx
