Walking Through the 1000-Year-Old Chinese Ancient Village, Daily Life in Rural China | 行走奉化最美千年古村棠岙村

I have walked through the 1000-Year-Old Chinese Ancient Villages, Yunxi [云溪] Village and Tang'ao [堂岙] village in Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province, East China. And this video is showing you the daily life in rural China.
Yunxi [云溪] is a thousand-year-old rural china village in Fenghua [奉化] district. It is named after the Tangyun [棠云] Stream that flows from south to north into the Shanjiang [剡江] River.
Next to the entrance of Yunxi Village, there is a building shaped like a giant snail. This is what the people of Yunxi Village call a Snail Tower[螺形塔luó xíng tǎ]. Open the map search, there is the name “螺形塔[luó xíng tǎ]" on the map.
Approaching the entrance of Yunxi Village, we came to the Fenghua Cultural Relics Protection Unit, Yunxi [云溪] Temple. Unlike ordinary ancestral halls, Yunxi Temple is not only a family ancestral hall dedicated to ancestors, but also a traditional temple dedicated to guardian gods. The temple is dedicated to the Tang Dynasty Minister Yue guo gong [越国公] Wang Hua [汪华] . Wang Hua [汪华] has special military talents and political strategies. From Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, Wang Hua was regarded as God in Jiangnan area, and more than 70 temples were built for him. Inside the Yunxi temple, there is a side hall on the left and right, where stands two guards characters in each side.
Tang'ao [棠岙] Village is a AAA-level tourist village in Zhejiang province. And it is located in a bamboo forest, quiet and beautiful. The clear Shanxi [剡溪] tributary Quanxi [泉溪] River passes through the village. The bamboo planted around the village has nourished the villagers for generations.
Tang'ao Village is the largest bamboo shoot producing area in Ningbo. When we walked into the village, we found that the roadside yard, doorway, and the ground were covered with dried bamboo shoots everywhere.
And as a beautiful ancient rural village in Ningbo, Tang'ao Village is also an artist's sketching creation base. We have run into the painter sketching from life during our trip.
In addition, Tang'ao Village has the Intangible Cultural Heritage - Traditional hand-made paper experience center.
