WALKING TOUR IN BORDEAUX | Wonderful French Atmosphere

Come and walk with us through the beautiful Bordeaux centre. We explore this wonderful and historic French city in the March Spring sunshine. We filmed the footage a few weeks ago in March and making this video brings back such wonderful memories. In this video we wanted to bring out the true sounds and atmosphere of the city so we decided not to add extra music as we wanted it to be an immersive city walk.
We are Robert and Jyrki - Irish and Finnish artists living in Helsinki, Finland. With no renovation experience, but lots of enthusiasm and passion we take on the big challenge of renovating a townhouse in rural France, and enjoy the lifestyle it has to offer. Gorgeous fruit and veg shop and florist. The buildings/architecture are beautiful. A very glorious walk around the streets of Bordeaux on a lovely spring day. It’s quite a bustling place, yet somehow enjoyable and top relaxing. Thank you for the tour

Oh guys! That was wonderful! You make me want to go back to Bordeaux! It will be 7 years this Autumn.... I really liked the sounds of the city, as well as your capturing the heart and soul of the city and not just the big tourist attractions. The little shops have such a cool vibe to them! I would love to go to the big antique market at the Quiconces. I could not afford to buy or transport anything, but the things you would see!!!

Thanks Lawrence, we really enjoyed it. As we said it's really our first proper visit and with it being so close we definitely regret not doing it sooner. Lot's more adventures there coming I hope!

I have leek envy! The leeks at the produce shop in Bordeaux had so much white, whereas here in America they are mostly green. I think I could live on potato leek soup, but in France, I'd need fewer leeks. A glorious escape from early spring here in Michigan, thanks so much for taking us along.
