Back in the day as yuh drive in pon the left hand side there was a lot of mango trees behind a bar wire fence We as schoolboys use to wiggle through the fence and pick mangoes

Yes the maze was di premier attraction before the zoo was set up

I stayed with some friends in Hope Pastures next to the gardens. During the night we'd be kept awake by the sound of the lions roaring!
