I love Lisbon. I've been to a lot of cities, but Lisbon is one of my all time favorites. Lovely people. Fantastic art and history. And the food. Oh, my.

I am allowed to write in portuguese in a video about Portugal? 🤭 Portugal had a strong connection with the sea in the past, and that's why they arrived here in Brazil in 1500. A few people nowadays know about the years of glory that Portugal had. There's a beautiful poem of Fernando Pessoa about that past: "Ó mar salgado, quanto do teu sal São lágrimas de Portugal! Por te cruzarmos, quantas mães choraram, Quantos filhos em vão rezaram! Quantas noivas ficaram por casar Para que fosses nosso, ó mar! Valeu a pena? Tudo vale a pena Se a alma não é pequena. Quem quer passar além do Bojador Tem que passar além da dor. Deus ao mar o perigo e o abismo deu, Mas nele é que espelhou o céu"

Thank you, Maria. That was sad but sweet.

The spelling and pronunciation of Portuguese words is absolutely atrocious. With minor corrections this could be a first-class video of a beautiful city.
