I would like to go there next time. Recently I had opportunity to spend few days in Sanya. I think whole island of Hainan are very beautiful, Li culture are awesome. Thank You for video.

Thank you! Glad you enjoy the trip. Comparing with Sanya, I believe the Wenchang and Haikou have more traditional streets.

Well, it depends on your interests, if you like to join the youth party and try surfing, the Riyue Bay of Wanning will be a good place. As for culture, walk around the old streets of Haikou and Wenchang can be a good start.

@@andrzejs6523 Wenchang is more of a place to just enjoy older type of environment, however where I'm from which are the village places of the Wenchang, which has more forest type environments. Sanya is more of a tourist attraction and Haikou is more modern and the city of Hainan.

1970. I just past 16 years old & was forced kicked out from my home town Guangzhou to Basha, Hainan island. 22 rmb a month & worked like a dog. 05/15/1974 my first escape to Macau failed & was captured by the China border guard.. was in jail for 2 weeks in Guangzhou jail & was sent back to Hainam. 2nd attempt 10/16/1974, night before typhoon arrive hong kong , I successfully reached Macau. the escape trip included 4 nights climbing hills & over 4 hours swimming ...... de Miami, florida
