Wow I thought all Wegmans made subs in front of you! My Wegmans got rid of the buffet/hot bar when covid happened and never brought it back :(. I loved their Chinese food haha

Im a truck driver for a "high end" grocery store in calif. That Wegmans store looks to be inside of a high-rise building on the lower floor I looked at it on Google Earth and I don't see any dock so how in the heck do they get a load of freight in the store?

As a big Wegmans fan, I love seeing their expansion into NYC and the south... but the fact that they are not opening with sub shops and pharmacies in their new stores is a huge misstep IMHO. The lack of a sub shop is a recent change. Brooklyn was the first to open without a sub shop, but they added it after complaints. Their recent openings (Yardley PA and Astor Place) are without sub shops, as will the upcoming Norwalk store. Makes no sense to me as that is one of their most popular departments in most stores.

@@jimbo317 It really makes no sense to not include the sub shops in the new stores. Sad, really. As Publix moves north, they have subs and pharmacies in their new stores... and they are competing in some markets. To not include those departments in new Wegmans stores will drive some, if not many customers to Publix even though Wegmans is cheaper for most products.

I could have sworn getting A5 wagyu commercially wasn't legal, I must have misheard. I thought you could only get it from licensed dealers.
