As a Hotel Manager Im shocked by the state of your luggage, firstly any damage must be reported by the concierge or porter to there supervisor who in turn reports it to the reception manager, he or she then reports it to the reception desk manager who notes it & adds a red flags it on your check in record so whoever checks you in knows to call the supervisor to discuss compensation....yes! there is compensation for damage to your possessions caused by a staff member whilst your staying....please don't leave this and go oh well, this is unacceptable and the staff member must be accountable

@@clogs4956 that's besides the point, it could have sentimental value for all they know, maybe even a gift from a late relative, at the end of the day it's the guest's property which the hotel ruined, it's unacceptable and I'd never stay there having seen this. It sets the tone for how they treat their guests and what little respect they have for them, Tim's just too polite, most folks would not have put up with it.

As a young bride my husband and I went to the Bellagio Hotel and Resort in January 2000. The hotel was only open a couple of years at that time. It was and still is quite posh and luxurious in which many other hotels took inspiration from and were modelled after. The flowers, the artwork, fountains and restaurants were second to none. We were served breakfast with real silverware. I remember that my silver teapot was on a beautiful silver tray. Not sure if they still do that today, but it was exceptional and so special for me. You mentioned in your video that you found the hotel quite big and it took time to get from one end to another. Well, fun fact…I remember our waiter telling us that the hotel was suppose to be bigger but it was scaled back. After all these years the Bellagio is still the must see hotel in Las Vegas.

I watched a documentary on it. So sad , all that money above and poor, people with hardly any food below. Speaking of which , I would love to help you and Gabby. I love your little family. I have terminal cancer, but I believe I will live past my death date. God has been healing me the whole time(4yrs)not all at once just a little here and there, my liver, lungs, and bones are healing. I am so grateful to my Savior and Lord. God is good. The test I take every 3 months cost very much. I'm 72 years old and live on my SS. I also live with my son , who is my care giver. If I could help ya'll out I surely would. I love your vlogs! They entertain me so much, I love the shower count, as to how many people could get in the shower. LOL. Love to the whole family. Gabby is gorgeous and a great personality. Casper is adorable, I can't wait until he grows up enough to enjoy the trips. I love that you are real Tim, no put on personality. I would suggest leaving handicap rooms for people who are wheelchair bound and just ask the staff for a room closest to the elevator.

Looks like you stayed at a very busy shopping centre. Maybe they do that to a lot of customers bags so you end up buying one there.

Another amazing post! Weird at 0:01 I don't recall Vegas having skyscrapers or hotels literally right next to each other? Your pic shows eight stacked right next to each other? Neat your bedroom has two huge windows - that is unusual. Love, love the glass tons of flowers art installation in the lobby ceiling! Wow! And 3 bathrooms - maybe one for the kids. Ouch - $37 for a cocktail? That's expensive but you're paying for the luxury building!

Great video Tim, I've been twice in LV but decades ago when it was less busy and superb value for money, now it's just a rip off, like all US cities. Those 'eat all you can' buffets were around $15-$20 and were simply fantastic. What gets my 'back up' about the US now are those BS resort fees, they never used to exist and I've been going to the US since the early 90's, and also room tax. My parents stayed at THE BELLAGIO and it looks a fantastic hotel. Like most other comments, I would have been right down to the concierge and got them to clean or replace that bag, that is an absolute disgrace. No way would I have accepted that. Not even a $100 comp voucher you could have used, nothing - shocking! I think these suites are just too big, 2 people in there would get lost, beautiful room but just too big for 2. Keep 'em comin'

Great video as always, Tim! I agree with you though, I think it'd be the Wynn for me as well.

What on earth did they do to your bag, I would absolutely be registering a complaint

@@WalkWithMeTim I'm not one for complaining but it looked like they rolled your bag in coal and with all the fees and such in Vegas a waving the resort fee is the bare minimum. $50 per night resort fees are one of the reasons I don't go to Vegas

Right? I’d definitely have sent it back for dry cleaning! Unacceptable
