The amount of emotion they were able to put into these characters without speaking is amazing. Interesting how if you look at certain aspects of society, it is definitely a direction humanity is going. Gotta see ET!!

Actually this movie is the last one just Pixar made, the acquisition happened in 2006 and even tho this movie came out in 2008, it was in production before the buyout, and Disney let them finish it

Define dancing is the most beautiful scene. It's just Eve and WallE moving through the axiom and space just enjoying their time together. I can't explain what I feel when I watch that scene

They really hit it out of the park when they made Wall-E the music is phenomenal and the emotion that Wall-E shows without talking is truly magical. One of my favorite Pixar movies. In regards to ET yes please watch it, as others have said it is truly a classic and i think you will dig it. Great reaction as always guys. 😊

WALL-E looks like #5 from short circuit an old classic
@DoremiFasolatido19797 ай бұрын
At the end of the movie, when we see all the plants growing on the hillside, it's only because WALL-E kept cleaning up trash. He cleaned up a big enough space that the soil could recover and something could finally grow again. Most of the open space we see earlier in the movie are places that used to be under oceans. The soil is likely far too salty to grow anything. The sea level dropped so much because once humans left, and the robots started cleaning up (also all the debris in orbit blocking sunlight), the Earth cooled back down, glaciers and ice caps returned, and the sea level dropped accordingly. All the WALL-Es made a difference overall, but it was THE one and only that managed to finally tip the balance for life to get a foothold again.

44:45 Wall-e has a soul. So does Eve. This proves it. Wall-e lost the chip with all his memories. And he remembered. He has a soul. The robots evolved to be intelligent beings. Also, this movie is a masterpiece! This movie does show-not-tell perfectly! And the subject matter is really good!
@quantumblur_31453 ай бұрын
That was presumably his... audio playback chip? Idk what that's for, but I'd assume the internal system had to reset to connect to the new one. Also evolution takes generations, and cannot occur within a single individual, _and_ doesn't select in favor of "souls"

This was Pixar’s first film before Disney bought them. This is how they became competition so they were bought and that’s why they’re under different names in the earlier movies.

Sigourney Weaver (the Alien franchise, Ghostbusters, Avatar) is the voice of the Axiom's ship computer. It's a bit of an in-joke since her role on Galaxy Quest was to constantly repeat the computer's responses. What was funny about that on Galaxy Quest, is that no one noticed the ship in that movie would NOT respond to anyone but her in the first place. If they wanted the computer to answer a question or perform a task beyond only the simplest and most basic ones...they HAD to go through her to do it. The computer wouldn't obey anyone but her. The Thermians in Galaxy Quest didn't understand her job in the old TV show, so they assumed she was IN CHARGE OF the computer, not just eye-candy that repeated the computer. So that's how they set it up on their ship. The thing wouldn't accept commands from anyone BUT her.

I’ve seen several reactions to this movie and wished all of the reactors would watch the end credits, because it’s a lesson in art history. As it moves on you’ll see how the art changes as it shows the growth of the Axiom passengers, just as art has grown over the years. Brilliant homage by the Pixar animators that created this wonderful film. Wall*e is brilliantly done and (again) the animators pay their homage to the great silent comedy film stars like Keaton, Chaplin, Lloyd, and others. Well meaning but clumsy. Love how almost a third of the film has no dialogue. And of course the “in joke” that cockroaches are impossible to kill. Yeah, a lot of people felt it was preachy with the overflow of trash (nearly) killing our planet and our reliance upon technology would make us lazy. But it’s still a good story regardless of the message.
