buhut buhut shukriya bhai , mainy apki rooftop wali video ko follow karky apni chat py plaster of paris lagaya ha, buhut wazay fark ha top floor py rehta hu dupeher ky waqt bhi fan ki hawa thandi ha, non inverter ac lga huwa ha pehlay usko room temperature 26C py lany mai 45 mins lagty thy ab sirf 20-25 mins lagty hain aur har 5 minute baad 5 minute ky liye trip hojata ha jissy electricity bhi bach rahi hai, jab ac off karty hai tab bhi 1 hour tak temperaure under 30C rehta ha pehlay 15 mintues mai hi 26C sy 30C tak puhunch jata tha aur thand khatam hojati thi, 5 marla py meri cost ayi ha 2100rs.(plaster of paris 100kg 1200, Acrylic 1kg 400, White cement 8kg 500rs). subah fajar ky time agar pori chat py pipe sy achy sy pani laga du tu sara din ac ki zaroorat bhi khatam hojati ha. aj kal sirf dupeher 1-4pm tak ac chala raha hu pehlay 12 hours minimum chalana parta tha. ab ye wall wala experiment bhi karky apsy share karu ga.

We also applied this method on roof. Alhamdollillah inside and outdoor temperature is a big difference. Inside rooms temperature is now bearable. Although outside temp is greater than 40 degree. We are only using single fan but now temperature is bearable. Fan is giving cool air even at highly peak hours of heat.

I have tried and 100% tested on 2200sq feet roof ... The result us great but the challenge is the toughness is still not guaranteed... so let me share my feedback on this 1. You must mix 2 kg of acrylic in a 10 liter balti with 5-6kg of plaster and rest mix with water and mix very well. The more acrylic the better. Expensive! 2. The above solution will make it water resistant but upon a bit of scratching on watery area, it will still come off. So if you walk on roof in rain, it will easily come off. Therefore you must further apply a coat of paint over it in order to complety protect it for some years. 3. The cost is still not low. You can say its half of company made, but not too low . My coat costed 25k with labor and took 3 days! 4. You cannot do all this work by yourself if roof is greater than 500sq feet (more than 80 guzz). 5. The painter is a must need as its a very hard and technical work to mix layer it properly and in time and evenly. Roof has to be fully clean first, it took 1 day of 2 man labour to just do the cleaning (as half day spent in finding them). Next day they started making and spread it. While spreading someplace it gets thick some place thin and some place it gets big patches or cracks. The painter must be expert to fix it. 6. Solution that they make must be properly mixed and made otherwise it gets bad after layering and you would need to fix it. Solution must be mixed very well with the quantity mentioned above. 7. Even after all this effort it is still not hard enough to resist damage from walking in rain. I tested it by rubbing my fingers on surface with water, it started coming off 😮. Acrylic itself start vapouring from intense heat so afer a few days the pop might become soft and chaky. So the extra paint coat is also necessary. Even after, there are areas that are cracky after 1 week and it will easily scrape off :( kiu k cracky chiz par upar say Kuch bhi lagalo wo base kharab kr k eventually sab destroy krday ga. Base strong hoga to us p paint faida karta he. Plaster khud weak base hay 8. So In order to further protect it and increase life, you must apply another layer of paint or roof coat or wheather shield whichever you get cheaper (apply only after fixing whole roof, it must not come in hand after drying up from any place, coz if any place has less acrylic effect it will wet other areas slowly and damage like a rust) . But apply the coat after 1 week, the pop+acrylic layer takes time to dry well enough. 9. Doing all this work, finding proper painter, the acrylic and all saman like roller (yes roller is also needed as viper did not properly spread it so first roller spreada it evenly the use viper to smoothen surface) , viper, balti etc and managing with them etc is not so easy. Its a 3 day tough job. So do it only from friday evening, sat and sunday. 10. So now you know very well why companies or painters do not advise this option. Its still not so easy or cheap and is also very risky in rain. Thats why they offer their tough materials that are a bit costly but would last a lot and not stop you from walking or playing on your roof freely. Not everything works like shown in KZbin vids. 11. Finally after all is done with maximum effort, my guess is this coat might not last so long from intense heat and rain, constant heat cracks it and water softens it again. So It's not weather proof for the roof where one has to walk and utilize, but only maybe where sloped roofs where nobody bothers going.. 12. Anybody who wanna try this must first apply only 1kg of plaster and 1/4kg acrylic with 1 liter water and apply on some area and see for 1-2 week how it works, must apply the much that the surface become complete white. After that youll be able to decide if you should opt for your roof and condition. 13. There is an old method of mixing 1/4th or half of rice starch with lime or plaster, I heard it makes it like a rock. I'll also try it on a small area before going full again.

@@ahmadjan2031 try to mix rice starch (rice powder) with plaster. 1/4 kg rice starch and 1 kg plaster 1 liter water. It's better than acrylic maybe. I read somewhere that old architecture used this mixture in buildings. This hardens it like a rock. I'll also test it.
