very cool! I just got all my buttons in to make something similar that folds up on my wall to look like a shelf when folded. Pulls down into an arcade. I found out that wii controllers can be used as lightguns on PC with an IR sensor bar and bluetooth, so ill probably add house of the dead and other lightgun games to it as well until I can afford a more premium LCD compatible lightgun.

Looks awesome. I did laugh a little when you turned it on with a remote though and said it was the easiest way to turn it on... In no universe is a remote control easier than a button on the unit that you literally have to be standing in front of to use anyway... If I owned this, I can almost guarantee that the remove would be in an unknown location within the first month... xD

Ever thought of trying to make it as slim and small as possible? Have you seen partycade from arcade1up? Can you build something like that but a smaller profile?

Hi so I am actually building one of these as a little side project I was wondering if I could ask you some questions about how you built this because this is very similar to something I envisioned buying myself. I'll pay you just for answering questions as not to waste your time if you are interested. I have my rasberry pi and mdf boards which I'm regretting not using plywood right now. Wanted to ask what did you use for your base to your screen how did you attach it and what did you use for your border around your screen. Looks like you used plexiglass over that and the screen as well? What did you use to attach the boards together some kind of wood adhesive or nails/screws? Is that a custom marquee you installed and how did you find the startup video did you just code that yourself?

Pretty neat. X86 kind of person. Meaning Linux with Retro Pie and Dolphin emulator. Also Winnows 10 64 bit OS. ITX Motherboard looks possible. Do you sell cab and monitor with just controls and controle board? I like Options. And yes, what are cost options.

Alright! I own thousands of roms from specific forums around the internet. Is it possible to get in contact with and customise a full gaming emulation console with various video/audio quality preferences and in which price would something like this be possible? Thanks in advance.
@millergamingcompany72644 жыл бұрын
LeonhartGR yes! I have put together an SD card with a the retro pie operating system seen in the video. I sell the 128gb loaded SD card with a raspberry pie micro PC and a power supply for $119. I’ll be offering a case with fan soon, as well as usb controllers. I’ll be doing more videos about this in the future. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the kind reply! It's highly appreciated! The main issue in these kind of systems is that usually not all roms are being supported. That's why I wanted to send you my rom collection or at least the links I got them from so as you would be able to offer support for all roms or at least try to help you with such kind of a research. Also different kinds of high res texture support that's been released from various modders around the internet would be cool like the N64 high res textures for various games. Or any kind of AI neural networks upscaling technology that might be available to integrate within the system's options. I'm not so sure for the last part though. Anyways... from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the luck with the project, whatever the final outcome of the product might be and well done for the love you are putting into this.

How is it mounted?
@millergamingcompany72644 жыл бұрын
That took me some time to figure out. I’ll post a video some day explaining how. For now, the only way to find out is to buy one. :-) I will say, I do have an easy to follow instructional video that I message to customers. Also, you do not need to mount into the studs and it takes less than 15 minutes. Only a drill, level, pencil, tape measure, and screwdriver are required. Everything else is included.

If anyone could clear up a legality for me in a comment section, that'd be a miracle. But I've always wanted to open a kind of hang out spot furnished with free to play cabinets. Legally speaking I know you're not supposed to profit directly from the games and there are licensing issues when dealing with particular cabinets. My idea would have been to build "wacky" custom cabinets and have custom menus loaded with themed games. I wanted to focus more on lost games that were harder to find in arcades. Maybe develop some games myself if time would allow in the future. But my main question really is, in this scenario would I be shut down if I operated these in a business that charges an admission fee and provides other entertainment? Seems like these mobile game trucks and pay per hour game parlours I've seen in malls can easily get through bureaucratic nonsense.
@BennieWilliams363 жыл бұрын
I think you will need to consult a lawyer. But I would guess that you could do something the requires a cover charge to enter and make the games one other thing people could use for free.
