So good to get a win for my Wallabies. Good signs.

Would have been surprised if they didn’t win. Wales are not in a good place.

That Tom Wright try was awesome. The guy has serious pace.

Agreed, he's such an electric player and he almost always makes big plays whenever he has the ball. It was a disgrace that Eddie left him out of the RWC squad last year.

Thank goodness for that! Hopefully the start of some better times for the wallabies!

I'm just happy it was a good game both teams showed sparks of potential which is great. Two teams nearly ruined by their respective unions. Glad Aussies won as I always loved seeing them play.

Gatland is doing everything in his power to prove his doubters right. It's hard work being a Welsh rugby fan.

I'm not sure what to make out of this game as a Welshman, I thought with a very strange team we could have knicked it but didn't so fair play to the Aussies! Gats is really testing us😀 I think we can get it back next week we probably come out of this better than the Aussies! That's just my opinion as a biased Welshman don't hate me😂😂🍻🍻

Loved our attacking ruck and ball security, especially in the first half! Haven’t seen us looking that organised in a few years. Credit to Joe for picking a few grafters in the side and Liam Wright as captain - he’s not the biggest unit but he runs an efficient lineout, absolutely busts his ass around the park and really sets the tone. Go Wallabies!

Nice to see the Aussie's get a win, congrats and hard luck to Wales, pretty evenly matched as was ABs v England, small margins

Seeing Michael Lynagh’s son run on made me feel human age again, after seeing Ian Botham’s GRANDSON run on made me feel about 1000 years old.

From a wallabies perspective the most impressive thing was the post match messages from the players and coach. They know they aren’t world beaters from one win over wales. Great to take positive steps forward and hopefully this is the start we can build something around.

I was there and the crowd was great. The atmosphere was coming from those wearing red. Even if the ARU had stuck them all behind the sticks.

The Wallabies have great backs. The problem is, they can only put 8 decent forwards on the field. If any of them get injured (especially the props), they are stuffed.
@crazyforcoffee59504 ай бұрын
Something they really need to fix.
@montefrancis3694 ай бұрын
Disagree with the props, TH we've got tupou and aalatoa, with admittedly no real options after that (Slipper, Nongorr, Faamusilli or Hogeman). LH we have Bell, Slipper, Kailea, Schoupp and Hodgeman.

Missed the game live but finally watched it in full this morning. Very happy with the win but definitely some room for improvement. After the the crap show of last year, I’m happy with a win and the team is looking better as well

Joe Schmidt will do a good job with Australia, he was excellent during his time in Ireland and I feel his inside knowledge (of Ireland) plus rugby IQ gave Abs the edge at rwc so expect Australia to move up the rankings in run up to next world cup .

Maybe this is a good time for wales to learn to play their players in the right positions!!!! And maybe pick more then 3 players from the one winning region (more then the others combined!!!)

yes let's start with the forwards Coach - Humphreys - bring back McBryde - to be honest let's start again with a whole new WRU, they've been killing the game here since the 1980's/90's. I just wasted £26 on a now tv/sky subscription - will never learn bois bach 😡

The Aussies can scrum! Is it 1999 again?
@rhysjones98704 ай бұрын
Gatlands selections continue to baffle me, a tighthead who cant even get on the bench for his club, The regions best 12 at 10 when we desperately need creation in midfield, Second row on the bench who currently plauing divison 4 rugby and then players like Plumtree who hasnt really shown he is capable at this level....its crazy how many in form players are being left out and they wonder why everyone is leaving Welsh Rugby
@DavidShort-q1d4 ай бұрын
Wales where awful in every department Their set piece was shattered both scrum and lineout failed to create anything troubling and struggled badly to get over the gainline As for Australia looked undercooked and rusty and at times struggled [ only 4 practice /training days ] Though they where by far the better team overall Next week it well could be a humiliation for Wales

Aus are bottom half of the table provincial team. Don't have the talent, especially in backs. All the best athletes are in the evil NRL. Facts hurt.
@DeftPol4 ай бұрын
All true, and the earlier stage talent in the private school system that used to support the game are largely going to the AFL - which is incidentally where most old Union fans have gone. Still, a win is a win. If Schmidt can get the side to cause a few big upsets, he’ll have done his job well.
@darrenleroux20344 ай бұрын
Wales need to move on from Gatland, he is a serial loser unfortunately - can’t argue with stats and facts. They need a fresh perspective to drive them back to better days in the future….
