@@richardharoldmeddows728 Most Americans know W&G primarily from the movie, Curse of the Were Rabbit, which did pretty decently here (though not as much as the UK for obvious reasons) but outside of that, the series does have a bit of a following in the US because the original shorts were given an American DVD release quite a few years before Curse of the Were Rabbit was released in theaters. We also actually do have means of getting BBC content. There's the BBC America channel on some Cable/Satellite services and various BBC shows (including W&G) can also be pretty easily watched on Streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime on this side of the pond as well.

It has been 10 years since curse of the were rabbit, their last feature (although they did do a short in 2009) on the average day of animating they get about 2 seconds of footage. It took FIVE years to make Curse of the were rabbit. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a long wait until the next movie but it will be worth it

Silmaril Films I don't think they will be making another movie or short of Wallace and Gromit for about 10 years because the entire facility for Wallace and Gromit burnt down and they had to start from scratch.

Silmaril Films Well the new Mad Max movie didn't have Mel Gibson and look how well that turned out. Besides, Pete's near the age of 100 at this point and has the right to retire. Sure it's sad to see him go but even then, Ben Whitehead isn't really a bad replacement. He's no Peter but then again it is really hard and sometimes impossible to be 100% accurate to the actual voice. Even with Peter gone, the spirit of Wallace & Gromit will still live on in our hearts. P.S. Aardman's next film isn't even a W&G feature. Look it up.

May I ask in several years time when Wallace and Gromit is no longer fashionable and forgotten about, kids will wonder what the hell this ride is about? Adults will continue to wonder why the hell they got rid of the perfectly good goldmine ride which was far more of a thrill ride than that gromit crap. At least the Goldmine is what it is and will never go out of fashion. Back in the 1980s button moon was popular but the kids of today have never heard of it! Same with Wallace and Gromit in years to come. Please demolish that Gromit ride and put back the goldmine.
