False, it actually premiers on the 18th December in select theatres up and down the country for 1 week only.

I have mixed emotions on this, haven't watched it yet but not sure I'm happy as Peter Salis has passed away not saying Ben Whitehead has done a bad job taking over from the og but in some ways gromit could have got a new owner but that's just me😉

If the only exposure to the late Mr. Salis is in this animation then you will not be disappointed.
