Do you have to unscrew the ridge version every time you need to change the battery?

I do believe you’re supposed to put the tag into the case white side down.

The only one that could be would be the Ridge which provides graphics for white up. I tested it both ways and it fits well in both cases, doesn't rattle.

@@walletopia no. the white goes down so that you can remove the metal face plate and change out the battery.

The Akeeni wallet is so easy to change the battery on the AirTag. Just unscrew the top with your thumbs without having to take it apart like the ridge.

Love my Damascus wallet. BF deal included the carbon case for AirTag. I think it might stay in its box since I got the ridge for the specific reason of it being really slim

I am a wallet freak ,I now have 98 and counting 🤣, Im sure this channel started my addiction, but check this out I found a good one that I haven't seen here, you gotta do Revelot wallets they got one that I just got that is a trifold but also a card holder that after testing I find it to be superior to Eksters tri fold , secret coin compartment, just a wild but great wallet. A little thick but it is very good the W5

The Ridge wallet’s airtag accessory is terrible. They finally changed it but the carbon fiber one is awful if you plant to ever reuse that airtag. It’s a real pain to remove it

Hi Mark. I do enjoy your videos. Please take this in the respectful manner it’s intended. A couple different times I’ve heard you pronounce the material that holds the Air Tag as silicon. Silicon (sil’ i kon or sil’ i ken) is the material used to make electronic chips. The material you have here is silicone (sil’ i kōn) used in certain Apple iPhone cases and fake ta-tas. 😎 Cheers!

AirTags are preferable to tiles because Apple does not sell your location data to advertisers. Tile does.

I have to question the effectiveness of an AirTag that is completely surrounded with metal.

The antenna is omnidirectional so as long as some side is exposed or the material used doesn't block it (like carbon fiber), you're fine.

Ridge wallet I was disappointed with how it functioned with the airtag carbon case. It’s really hard to hear it in the case. Plus I had to replace the battery twice in less than 4 months. I just ordered the Akeeni and happy thus far. Plus it’s quick instillation process is a bonus.

I liked my akeeni wallet but it really distroys the ends of the cards otherwise I really like the design

None of these are a patch on the Craft & Lore Worry Wallet. Apple need to make a tag like the Tile Slim.

I'm old school, so there's no need for an extra piece of expensive tech to bulk up my wallet. Theft is always an issue, but otherwise just be more careful people!

I actually didn't purchase it for theft, more so because I get absent minded and tend to put it down the first place I slow down when I get home. Super handy especially when in a hurry. Also lets you know if you left the house without it if you want. Handy

Having an airtag on those wallets, is absolutly useless, and just a waste of money. I mean people will easily take everything in the wallet, which is more valuable than the wallet itself, and throw the wallet away, plus it adds bulk to wallet that is not needed, plays against the minimalist concept. As for the wallets, I own the ridge and the Akeeni Xsto, Xsto is way better and more useful than ridge. Ridge is kinda hard to deal with, it hold lots of cards, good luck picking the one you want when you are in a rush.
