Used dipsy divers and Erie Dearies. My Brother had a 38 ft sailboat on Lake Erie. We did a lot of sailing and fishing on the lake. I grew up in Ohio and remember when they said Lake Erie was dying. It sure has gotten cleaner. The zebra Muscles are heavy there, but they filter the water and it has gotten cleaner.

What no kayaks? You're in my neck of the woods Robert Field, most of us up here on Lake Erie, would rather drift fish then go trolling for walleyes, drift fishing is the only way to go unless you want the boat to catch all the fish take turns reeling them in. I know you would rather feel the bite. I'm sure you're with some real good fishermen but if you want to have a real good time catching and casting you got to go a little further West but not too far west somewhere between Reno Beach Ohio and Port Clinton or Sandusky but the further west you go the better the reefs are lot more structure on the West end lot more rocks that the walleye I like. By the way one of your videos I saw you fishing in a kayak with a fishing guide, Brian Nelly, of pushing water. I fished with Brian three times, that was a real trip! Definitely used up one of my lives on one of the trips when I turtle the kayak and I was unconscious. Scared the s*** out of Brian I haven't been back but I plan on doing it again. PS. Wild Wings Marina, is a really great place to go out of. Everything you could possibly want there, food lodging ramp store and bar you never have to leave the campground and some of the best fishing guides on the western end of Lake Erie!
