i learned so much but is there a way to export the project from wallpaper engine
@feltamvs32583 жыл бұрын
Hey, I'm having trouble with this part. I noticed that the mask for my shake is limited instead of the full background length. As a result, if my layer shakes too much, it goes beyond the mask and some parts disappear. Is there a way I can fix this?

It sounds like when you imported your image into wallpaper engine, you didn't uncheck the box that says to remove empty space around your layer. Try re-importing your layer and uncheck this box. (If you import your layer you should see an example of the image given, if it's surrounded by red/grayish lines, that means wallpaper engine will reduce the size of your image when you import it)

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. Part 2 was very helpful but now I am stuck - it does not explain how to import layers into wallpaper engine, nor does this one. I tried to google it and igure it out myself but with no luck. Any help with this one?

Once you exported the layers as images to a folder; Then, open the wallpaper editor; select "create new wallpaper". It should open a menu where it asks for the project name and a base image. Select the background layer for this base image, then once the editor is loaded, simply drag the layers/images from your windows explorer to the editor.

@@ArtemisWE thanks for the response ! when i drag straight from siles into wallpaper engine all the layers are just placed into the centre of the of the canvas :O is there anything that i am doing wrong ?
@ArtemisWE2 жыл бұрын
@@minty8825 No I don't think so? By the way you are describing it, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. I do the same thing without issues, I'm not entirely sure what's going wrong.

@@ArtemisWE Right now I'm having the same issue as the person who adressed it at first. Does that mean there is no way that the exported layers (when importing into the editor of wallpaper engine) are instantly placed on their original position? Or do I have to do some puzzling now? Because mine are also being put into the centre of the editoe when importing
@ArtemisWE2 жыл бұрын
@@crunchycres There's a neat trick to it. On the top side of your editor, there should be a tab called "view". Hover over it and select the "reset view" option. This will re-center your camera and when you import your layers afterwards, they'll all be placed on the right spot.

how to export to gif or vdo?
@AscendantStoic7 ай бұрын
Play the animated wallpaper in wallpaper engine in fullscreen, record it with any screen recording program, then you can take the video and convert it to a gif.

Is part 2 missing?

No? It was uploaded a few months ago.

Aaah, I wasn't seeing it because I'm looking at the "Wallpaper Engine/GIMP tutorial" playlist and part 2 isn't in it

Oh oops you're right. I've added it to that playlist as well, thanks for bringing it to my attention! ^^
