It’s all fun and games til the alligator grows up and kills his children 🤷‍♀️I don’t care how tame it is; it’s an alligator. They do not have the emotion capabilities we do. Sure they feel, but I doubt they ‘love’ you. Just making sure they’re always well-fed is a good way to stay safe around them, but the ‘love’ part is just for the show lol

As anyone who has had a loving pet can feel. They are very much close family and losing them is no different than losing family. As I already know from losing one myself. When he reflected back on what it would feel like without Wally. It reminded me of how I use to worry about that myself thinking of my own pet. After 11 years it finally happened and, its not easy. He was very relatable.

@@Whitguy86 The gator IS tame.... You mean the gator isn't domesticated. There's a HUGE difference. domestication is a permanent modification of genetic code and traits which include a predisposition toward humans. meaning they are our pets. Horses, dogs, cats are a few animals that have been domesticated. Tame means a conditioned or learned behavior....Many animals become "tame" but are still "Wild" such as bears, lions, etc. meaning they have learned to be tolerant of humans and human behavior, such as us being around them, touching them, feeding, etc. but they are still "wild" and dangerous. there's only a handful of animals that have become "domesticated". MOST are wild, or trained to be "tamed". this gator is TAMED, and probably trained to some degree.

Some influential man or woman should contact a major TV broadcasting station and spread this topic in the media, and start a "Bring Wally Home!" campaign, it's about time people come together in this crazy word nowadays, and make a little wonder happen. For Pete's sake, drones are used in wars, they can find enemies, I would say send also a bunch of drones to that swamp, and from above you have a great view, which makes it easier to spot him, and it's safer too. We shouldn't listen to those that say that it can't be done, how many of them have ever tried? How can anyone with some power in the USA look at this video and not think about what can be done to help? For Pete's sake, we return rockets nowadays to earth to land, don't tell me that we can't find that little crocodile, use cameras with heat sensors if we have to!!

People think they’re so special as if they’re an animal whisperer or something . There was another gator that became like this after being shot in the brain. The gator's aggression was completely lobotomized. It's possible that Wally may have some kind of brain damage or defect to his brain that we just can't see. It doesn't matter if he does, as he gets on just fine, but I'm sure there's something different in his brain that makes him less aggressive. If it was able to be passed down, it would make him a great contributor to pet alligators, which I'm sure a lot of people would find interesting or would be better for alligator shows (reduce or eliminate risk of biting).

@brumslybrumbino9516 she is wild. One of my uncles found her as a baby and brought her home and put her in a pond. They fed her and fed her and also handled and played with her. When she was about 3 or 4 foot they got scared for the pets and children. She never snapped at anyone. She was gone for about a year or so and came back. We think she may have had babies. She came back and would come and go. Mo mo was a special gator I guess and has come around for over 20+ years. My family left to west Monroe to escape Katrina. St. Benard parish was hit hard and the community was flooded out bad. My family lost that home and had it knocked down and they built a new one. "Mo Mo has never come back. So sorry for your loss Pete. Cats are incredible. They definitely experience grief and can sense others feeling more so than many other animals. When one of my cats passed away, for about 2 weeks after, the remaining cat wouldn’t eat, would play as he usually would and was just mopping around. I truly believe he was grieving her loss.
@cooliodiablo4571
@cooliodiablo4571 Жыл бұрын
@Hoptoit I believe cats grieve as well. I had two cats. One was already like 4 years old when we got the other. However they immediately bonded. When the older cat got to be about 10 years old he died one day from a heart attack. For the next week our other cat only would want to go outside all of the time. If we didn’t let him out the house he’d just meow at the front door for hours until we let him out. Something he never did before. Each day he came home later, and later too. Then after letting him out one night a few weeks or so after the first cats death our other cat disappeared. He just didn’t come back. I think he met his end to exhaustion, it was very sad. He wouldn’t sleep, or eat. It was like after our first cat died the other became just absolutely restless trying to find him.

That's amazing! I've rarely seen a reptile that doesn't bite, and yet there is an alligator that has better manners than many dogs and cats. Truly a unique personality. I've raised hundreds of chickens and every now and then, you get an amazing chicken that will behave like part of the family and even be protective of the owner. At first I wondered if Wally had something wrong with his jaw, but I saw him eat and he can definitely bite when he needs to. Truly remarkable.
