Q24.With my practical experience , I am letting you know , Direct Query does not work good if you have records in billions or crores . Report loading time increases and all the calculations get process at runtime . Do change you answer and make it relative

In direct query mode, we can pull data from different source, which is also known as composite model, have tried it in practical also, please correct if i am wrong @learn with gigs.

You can achieve that by using datesytd function Create a measure like = Calculate(sum(sales),datesytd(date))

Hi sir, I have one doubt n you please explain it. How to create dynamic serial numbers. like, for example 3 countries there India, China, USA if we select India the serial numbers need to show from 1 again I select USA it's won't to show from 1 only not like index. anyone can answer.

It will give you only last month as Jan not Selected Month Feb ..For this you have to hold both values in variable and merge
