The axis lock one I got is really good . It can be hit or miss . Holds an edge well and is pretty smooth flipping open and close .

Lol. I have a couple of axis lock knives, and they’re fun. You can adjust the spring, but you have to be careful. I overbent mine, and now it opens if you look at it. Not good. Thanks, George!

Alot of makers use that lock, they just call it something different. I always tighten the pivot screw way up then back them off till I like the the action and oil it.

Aloha George! Wow, for sure the coffee was working! I may of missed it, but did you ever mention the price!? Just joking. Good that you were able to pick up one of the most talked about Walmart knife for 2022. Too bad I wasn't into knives at that time or I would of certainly bought one. But as other's have said there's some inconsistencies in QC. Have you tried adjusting the pivot screws and/or the spring? I bought a Ganzo and was successful in adjusting the spring, so the axis lock is not as hard to move, but for sure not as good as the real thing (aka Benchmade). Lucky for us poor people, the copyright has expired and other makers can offer similar locking mechanisms. Have a nice Sunday and Labor Day! Thomas

That's normal for a clip on knife only need one side showing hanging on your pocket is the theory so the bone or fake antler is showing
