Kissinger and puppet Nixon opened up China in the 1970's in response to the strong labor unions. Don't you think he and his ilk invested in Chinese factories? No air pollution standards, near slave labor? How many other presidents and cabinet members invested in China as they make it more impossible to manufacture in the US?

Walmart went straight to the Sewer the Day after Sam Walton died. The Family and Top Executives immediately threw everything Sam had in place out the window. Remember when the back of Every Walmart Trailer a sign read. "We buy and Sell Made in USA whenever possible". Even the Same on walls inside the Stores. But Sam's Retarded kids changed that to "Walmart Home of Made in China".

Most times if you are more than 15 minutes early , they wont let you in the gate. BUT, if you are 15 minutes late or more, they want to re-schedule your appointment for days later. Also, when you do get to a dock, it takes them HOURS to unload your trailer. Wal-mart should pull their own freight, with their own trucks ! Outside carriers are last to be taken care of. Been there, done that ! And the lumper situation is another story altogether !

20 year veteran here. I've been to several Walmart DCs where they have anywhere from a 5 minute to 30 minute widows. If you aren't at the CHECK IN within that time, you are screwed (the DC will unload you when they want) and if you are too early at the GUARD SHACK to ensure you are on time at the window, they will tell you you have to come back. Sometimes you can go out, get turned around and stage just outside the driveway, but others like the one in Los Lunas, NM, prohibit that and other businesses will call the police to write tickets. Walmart wants their shit on their terms and schedule and fk the drivers' HOS rules and company policies. I can't believe that they were still charging outside carriers to unload their own products.

But he also said he was out of hours of operation so what was he going to do once they unloaded him ? Are the diagonal spots available for drivers to complete a break after getting unloaded ? I don't think I remember parking at a Walmart DC when I was OTR unless it was one where my company had a dedicated account there. I'm not sure why they got so agitated unless he wasn't willing to wait for his appointment time and it sounds like that's what he's saying.

I am a retired LTL driver. I was with my company for almost 28 years. We sent a driver to a Walmart DC. He arrived about 10 min early. He walked to the guard shack because they were backed up with trucks. He told them he was in line and on time. When he finally made it to the guard shack they turned him around because he was late. He took the freight back to our terminal and unloaded the freight. Our dispatcher called the Walmart DC and told them to come get their freight! Sweet revenge.

From looking at the comments I can see people aren't grasping what happened here. The dude said he's the kind of driver that would drop his load off in the middle of the parking lot. That's what set the people at Walmart off was his attitude that if you don't get the shit out of my truck I'll just fucking throw it in the goddamn parking lot. I don't know what the shit is with the other driver but he's straight up and said that he would drop the shit off in the middle of the parking lot they don't get it off his truck so that's what started it with him.

Thankfully I never had a delivery to a Walmart DC, but I did have a bunch of runs delivering straight to their stores. They were McLane loads, through TQL, and surprisingly, those were some of the easiest and smoothest deliveries I've had. Most were driver unload (meaning me), 2 or 3 stores per trailer. Their workers were pretty chill, the loading docks, inside and out, were clean and tidy, no issues with the paperwork. Easy in, easy out. This extreme appointment punctuality from Walmart DC's is just a recipe for constant headaches for everyone involved.

Hell, you might be in line for damn near 30 minutes just waiting to get up to the guard shack!! They changed it to that. If you are there more than 1 hour before your scheduled appointment time, they will run you off!! Some of them used to have staging/overnight parking lot/areas, they've gotten rid of that in most places. Cleburne, tx has no parking signs on the street, the city of sanger, tx closed down that side road were you used to be able to park on, sealy, tx never had overnight parking, robert, la has no overnight parking & dayton, tx has no overnight parking on the sides of the road there. They already covered a similar issue with the Ex DOT officer, saying that you are allowed to PC when a safety official tells you to leave a shipper / receiver's private property. If your company won't allow for this exception, you need to leave them. The final option is to get arrested and have your truck towed. in that case, your ELD will show the truck moving anyways.

Yes there weee some inconsistencies there. I understand it's rough because I used to do it and I guess I was lucky that most of my Walmart DC loads were drop and hook. It's tricky because a lot of places appreciate if someone arrives early and politely checks in just to let them know they're there in case a door becomes available but some companies don't want drivers arriving too early before their appointments for various reasons and once you know their policy try to honor it and things go more smoothly.

Its been that way for years but that is not the issue! If the driver would have been professional he would have shown up one hour before his appointment and been respectful. You do not argue with a customer or threaten to unload the product in the parking lot. If this guy was working for me he wouldn't be after this. He said he did the 5mph crawl in and wouldn’t leave cause he was out of hours okay so what are you going to do if they would of let him in to a door take your ten on their property? Walmart dc’s aren’t going for that and they don’t care your out of hours. He’s also not eligible for pc cause he was already parked and decided to crawl there. Something about this seems odd. I am a walmart driver and I was just in there on Tuesday (22nd) and I asked them if they were busy and I was told they weren't running behind. Loveland is not my dc but I go there constantly. I've met almost everybody that works at the gate and what he said seems out of character for them. Again, I'm a walmart driver so my interaction with them is probably skewed compared to outside carriers. There's about 20 spots to park about 50 yards past the gate and when I was there it was pretty much empty. For him to be there a couple hours early and not just let him park and wait seems odd. If I had to wager a guess I would say the broker lied about the delivery date and told his company it was a day earlier than what they were told. In that case yes, they won't let you inside the gate. That particular dc is a GM dc that has a sams dc in it. Sams is a separate entity from walmart so they have different rules. I feel bad for this driver. The silver lining is at least he didn't get a monetary citation for it.

If some driver get to a receiver out of hours of service for whatever reason, as long as he got the load there safely, he should not have to head out over 0.1miles away to wait for same day delivery. And receivers should make plans for this waiting time. Often times no matter how short or long the haul is, at delivery point, the relief of a job is completed sets in relief hormones that put the nerves and brain brain in rest mode that makes you seek rest for a moment . There will actually be less accident on the road involving trucker, when all loads become deliverable upon pickup

Walmart is completely in the wrong, and the moment they said they were calling the cops to tresspass you, you should of told your boss "Yeah they are refusing this order so returning this load to the place I picked it up"

I live in Gas City Indiana and years ago and Walmart called the police on a friend, that was out of hours and he pulled out and parked on the side of the driveway outside of the gate (out of the way), When the officer arrived he asked the officer if he could follow him down to a truck parking area by the interstate because of being out of hours and that he had no PC. The officer trespassed him and told him he was making things up about HOS and PC and if he didn't leave they would take him to jail for failure to comply.....

I have delivered to different Walmart DC since 2007 and my info is an hour is the earliest to deliver and don't be late. I never had a problem.

I refused All Walmart Loads from my truck when I was a owner operator. They are horrible to deliver to.
