Werner was my first company when i got my CDL in 2016 yes they are not good at PM intervals. Luckily i have grown to understand better PM practices and such. Have u ever consedered starting your own company and running under creats authourity? After 7.5years i took that leep and making good money

I used to drop there a lot. Company i drove for 23 years, and retired from, is only 50 miles away, and we were there several times a week, 99 out of 100 times would be a drop/hook. One of the better Walmart DC's

Good old wal mart loads..got one few days ago..b/l showed 35000#..first scale got pulled in ..1750# overweight on tandems.....usually scale all wal mart loads...not a bad idea

Looks like a fun time, ya’ll. Save travels! I “love” picking up trailers with questionable tires, or just blatantly flat tires, so flat that it’s off the bead. You just got to wonder if the last driver even knew about it, and whether the plant knew too before they loaded it with 43,000 lbs of fast food chicken. Oh well! My week/weekend is going to an electrical gremlin on my truck that is shorting out and popping the fuse for my right side trailer turn signal! Two mechanics couldn’t figure it out, hopefully a third’s the charm! Happy thoughts! It’s all I got now LOL

How do you know if a trailer is empty w/o looking inside?

You know it’s loaded if there is a seal. If there’s no seal chances are it’s empty. At certain places all the empties are in a particular area. If it’s supposedly empty drivers should still look inside because it should be clean inside. So sometimes it requires drivers to remove debris or sweep it.

Crete accepts new drivers out of school, however the school has to be a Crete approved school . New drivers will go 8 weeks with a trainer.

I've been with Crete for 4 years, last year I didn't make it home for Christmas due to bad weather, Christmas day the President of Crete Tim Aschoff called me to say how sorry he was I didn't make it home and when I did get home for home time to take an extra day, that impressed me...
