Yea they are! I don’t think I’ll ever run a drawer system again lol

Looks neat I love it. One thing I would include when I build mine would be a pull out table under the plywood

Great video man. Thanks for providing those measurements. I was looking for the cheapest way to get my tilting fridge slide in and going to use your setup as a reference/jumping point. You da man, man.

Man I like that setup I also have a drawer system in my 4th gen 4runner and starting to hate how much room it take up I might try this setup I need more room lol.

I was the same way, I loved having the drawer system but then I realized how much space I was wasting on the little amount of stuff I had in the drawer system. I like this alot better

Love the idea. Let me know if you decide to sell the drawer system you built. Since I’m close to ya. Not sure which direction to go. This video has opened my eyes to still having most of the cargo room. Lol. My kids might want me to do the 4Runner air mattress set for them so I’d have to still utilize the rear area.

Thanks Brandon! Don’t get me wrong the drawer system was nice! But I honestly like this setup better, and being able to take the toolboxes out at camp is a big plus.

Hey! After many sedans and coupes I just got my first 4R last week and have been figuring out what storage solution(s) to go with for car camping. I also came to the conclusion that an interlocking toolbox system might be the easiest place for me to start, although I went with the Dewalt TSTAK solution not knowing about Walmart's "Hart" system. Still though, great minds think alike! Thanks for sharing and all the idea's!

That's a great setup. You might want to look into the actual load limits of your Rhino gear. I used to have their equipment and found that they overstated the ratings on straps and ropes. They would state the maximum amount of force that caused a failure, not the minimum. If you depend on those claims, it might not end well, and you could experience critical failures. Look at how Yankum and Factor 55 identify their equipment and compare that to Rhino. The differences are apparent. Both Yankum and Factor 55 state the lowest amount of force that would cause a failure. This ensures a margin of safety that you won't realize with Rhino. You definitely get what you pay for. Also, the only part about Rhino "USA" is in the title and not where their equipment is made. Thanks again for taking the time.

The Hart tool box is a great idea and budget friendly. I just did the New Mexico BDR and this set up should have been better than a big bin🤙

@@bfm_overland beautiful for sure!, because of the elevation changes been so drastic you can see different types of terrain and weather from high 60 degrees on the desert to be on the 20s in the mountains sometimes in the same day!

Thanks! I just measured it for you it is 11x14.5 , hope it helps!
I'd pull the drawers out of the bottom box and run a couple screws through the bottom to mount them in place. No need for the bungee cord

@@bfm_overland 2003 4Runner, 2002 Chevy Express tow/camping vehicle and a 22 foot travel trailer. Four years ago, I finally sold my last boat (I've had 5 boats, canoes, kayaks). The 4Runner and Express van double as daily drivers so everything breaks down easily for storage.
