I used to go past the eagle claw plant when I lived in Denver almost twenty years ago. Yes I used 5'6" spinning rods from eagle claw that were freakin awesome for trout fishing. Now I use at least seven foot rods.

I use the rod but put a Kastking Sepher 1000 on it. Works like a charm. And its more of a L-UL rod really. Definitely not a Medium. But good for finesse, small pond and creek fishing.

If you ever want a finesse casting setup look up the Eagle Claw Kokanee rod, 7'6" medium light. Pair it up with a decent reel and you can zing weightless senkos a freaking mile
