that's what I wanted to know about is the tip thing, if it is $8 a month for Walmart+ with the annual it basically doesn't save me tipping $7 each time.

I’ve tried it. And though it Can be very convenient, you can’t always trust them to get your stuff to you. Today makes the 3rd time I’ve waited patiently & got nothing. The first time was an inconvenience. The second time, I was ill and really needed some easily prepared comfort food. The third time happened today. I worked the day before Thanksgiving, and will be working the day of. But I ordered some sliced turkey & stuffing mix to make turkey rollups with gravy, so my family could have a decent Thanksgiving Day meal. I even called the store when I was notified that the delivery was going to be ‘late.’ I told they guy that late was ok, as long as it got here. If he’d have told me that it wouldn’t be dropped off, I would have asked if I could pick it up. And all of the stores are closed tomorrow. No turkey for us this year.

Finally an informative video!!!! I was on the fence about getting a subscription but for someone who doesn't have a car, & using public transportation it can be annoying as h*ll especially when trying to carry everything by yourself 😭 Def getting the subscription! Thanks ☺

This is not free !! They charge tipping without approval . 7.00 per delivery if you order from the store . Basically for groceries which is what the additional yearly charge is for . 35.00 for free shipping has not changed

Great review and overview!! You explained the value and benefits of Walmart + better than I've seen Walmart do in their advertising.

Hey you, Walmart marketing team, did you hear just after 9:29, how she mentioned only one car in their household?? This is your target audience to get early adoption. These one car or even no car families. Talk to them in your ads.

The service is terrible and the delivery Drivers are doordash which means you also have to tip them for the membership you already paid for! Walmarts order online process has also been a hot ass mess lately. There’s always an issue with your order.

I signed up. Made an order. Then found out they don't deliver to my address. So I cancelled it. The only reason I signed up is my Boss who lives about 10 blocks away gets her stuff delivered. So either my boss is lying or Walmart doesn't deliver 10 blocks from her house.

I understand why you said on the tip zero and up but people please do not give your delivery person zero tip. They are third-party delivery service and they are not getting paid at all by Walmart they are working off of tips. This is an issue I have with any of these services that say free delivery. Yes it's free delivery if you're a scumbag who won't give your delivery driver a tip. But the reality is you are going to have to pay a tip to your driver.
@christiecruzxo2841 Жыл бұрын
Some people are paying with EBT and have no cash to tip so please don’t automatically assume they are a “scumbag”. They might just be low income with no vehicle and this is the only way they have to get groceries to their children. I know a lot of low income families who have to use this service. They tip if they can but sometimes they are just working with food stamps.

I am a delivery driver for spark third party and it seems that both sides have a story and I'd like to share mine. I don't pickup orders for delivery because if the walmart associate did a bad job shopping for items like bad quality produce and meat or didn't communicate for substitutes with customer or the loader did a bad job loading and breaking eggs and squishing bread and such because we r not allowed to load items from pickup and we as the driver have our tips cut due to someone else's bad job and I no longer choose to put my job in others hands. However I do take shop and deliver orders which come to us as express orders where the customer wanted their order sooner. The problem with that is I shop the order go through check out where I get every item checked to verify no items r stolen and then an I'd check to verify I am correct person (which I am glad they do for customers sake because there r tons of stolen identity accounts and drivers who have not been through background checks posing as someone who has)THEN I can bag grocery and leave to load in my vehicle and deliver order to customer. I do alot for customers and even communicate through the shopping app with them to ensure good customer support all to get very little pay on most orders.Walmart does not pay it's drivers very much through third party app and we rely on tips for majority of income. I know that walmart plus says free delivery and all the other perks, but someone is taking their time and resources to get those orders out and not being compensated for it. My bottom line is if u can afford to pay for express services which means your driver does all the work (shop and deliver) then u can afford to leave at least a small tip. People who pay with foodstamps and gift cards are not getting express orders without a way to pay the extra fees. I don't mind that some people have low income because I do too and I know how that is. Also I know how it is to not have a vehicle and these services weren't available when I went through those stages of my life. I only say this because I know daily I take over half my orders with no tip and I've spoken to customers that had no idea I did the shopping as well as delivery eventhough I make sure to text all my customers now through the app whIle shopping so they are aware. I also know most customers never look at app after placing their order so I dunno if they even get the messages after delivery. Please understand that most of these drivers work very hard to provide these services and as a customer u should know if the person showing up at your door doesn't match the name or vehicle on your order u should call and report it or refuse and cancel your order because they are stealing people's accounts and have not been vetted.Thanks for your time.

My 1st time ordering with Walmart was a bad experience because the person did not read or speak English A few more times prove that Walmart figured this system out by having a 3rd party to deliver your groceries they are not honest missed 50% of the time you will receive your groceries and the other 50% of the time I don't know what they do with it Truthfully is it worth it I don't know the selection of stores lead you hopeless because you're only able to buy canned goods and things that are shelf if you don't have a supercenter near you Walmart you need to try again because it sucks and buying reviews on other sites And customer service promised me twice 25% off never ever seen the coupon It's a joke

Don't do it! The drivers suck and the pickers will pick the oldest and nastiest food. Several orders I have received only half my order! Other orders they dropped off stuff from other people's orders. It's not worth it!
@joleewatts15147 ай бұрын
Please make sure your driver matches the name and vehicle that is supposed to deliver. There r alot of stolen identity accounts and people posing as the vetted person but they are not. Alot of times a male will show up on a females account name and vice versa Or wrong vehicle with paper tags that has no Insurance. They have slowly began implementing ID checks at store but there are still ways they r getting around it with fake id's. Or having one person shop or pickup orders then taking into parking lot and passing it off to others to deliver. They r making it really hard for legal vetted drivers to make a living.If more customers would report the issue or cancel their orders maybe it would get better.

I have heard so many stories about how there groceries were stolen or spoiled and I have seen them(people with stolen accounts) take groceries into parking lot and just stand in hot sun for 30 45 mins just waiting for a driver friend to pick up and deliver to customer. Oh and they always handing off phones and have 2 or more phones each cause they have so many fraudulent accounts. Please report them!! Some stores in my area have been trying to help fix the problem but I know alot of stores don't care as long as grocery get delivered

As soon as you see this video is sponsored by Walmart, you basically know what she will say. And here's what I have to say, if you compare this to Amazon Prime (where you get so much for your membership fee), it's definitely not worth it.$40 - $50 a year, maybe, but not $98. Sorry not sorry.
@Paperclown2 жыл бұрын
well amazon fresh is only available in limited cities with whole foods. Doesn't necessarily saying it's catering to millenial moms, cuz I know lots of people in my apartment complex who don't have vehicles. 1 month sub is definately cheaper than a 1 way uber trip. Not to mention old people, or even college kids who rely on public bus to get around.
@MoDavI-sl7iy2 жыл бұрын
@@Paperclown maybe it's worth it, for the ppl you just mentioned. In my area, I can never get an whole order delivered. If I order 10 items, I get less than half delivered, so it's not worth it for me. I'll just stick with Amazon. And order other items from Walmart, without a membership fee. Not to mention, there's other Supermarkets, that offer FREE delivery in my area.
