I know this is 2 years after the fact but an original, unlimited Raigeki being in a Walmart mystery cube in 2019 bothers the hell out of me. By that point the card was long out of print, any version of the card would either be in a collection, deck or pulled out of a tin that went unopened for quite some time. Whoever put that card in a random tin was a utter idiot!

The only card I would consider 'vintage' would be the LOB Raigeki, especially seeing that it has 'Magic Card' on it and it's the misprint. I think the first prints of the unlimited raigekis were all misprints.

Ya gotta know the out of pack cards are from when Wal-Mart catches people stealing YGO cards &/or when people return opened packs after taking out anything of use and placing in something not of use that can come in that pack that they already have. That explains damaged cards and the fact that it's possible they could get damaged when they place them in the Mystery Cube itself.

Considering these cubes were at 20 dollars before they got out of print, it's much safer and cheaper these cards. Not only it's extremely rare to pull good cards, but a single Solemn Strike has not been over 5 dollars when it was reprinted as promo. The battle packs are worth nothing so you only made half the money back on that cube.

The raigeki is not a misprint technically. It is an old school LOB card. Old school enough that spell cards were called magic cards at that point in time. Kinda like how magic ruler is now spell ruler...

Walmart has nothing to do with these, a vendor in Canada makes these with bulk, which a majority of stores sell to him. Also the misprint on raigeki is more common than it not being misprinted.
