The radio is what is causing the speakers to distort. Most radios don t have enough power to play loud and not distort. To get a better idea of how the speakers sound you should wire an amp in to them and cross them over at around 125hz and run the rear full range or with no crossover. Sony makes a decent product, they have better quality product but probably not available at walmart. Kicker is most likely the best quality you are going to find at walmart. The Pioneer stuff they sell is decent as well.

Un truco revisen el fusible del estereo, si trae 10 amperes pueden subirlo a 15 amperes y obtendran un poquito mas de potencia es decir unos watts rms mas.... originales el estereo les da 14 16 watts rms, con esto subirian a 20 watts rms...

Darn :( what did you expect from these ? bass ? clarity ? cuss we know these dont have the most clarity but they had some bass to them , ofc there not the best of best but okay for regular occasions

I just installed two new 6x4s, in the rear of my k1500, stock everything tho, and only one speaker is moving w some umph to it...guessing my stock head unit setup doesnt have the power to push both speakers properly. Not sure...theres sound, its just one is much much stronger in output, same sony speaker just 6x4s
