What do you think the best budget amp to get for 4 ds18 speakes

If you just replaced the box and left the same amp and sub you would tell a difference. That crappy box you have is hindering a lot of performance.

You fellas got ripped off on those prices. Just saying you could have gotten a better setup for the same dollar amount if you did some research on Amazon.

Im running the jensen 600w amp with the jensen 12" 1200w subwoofer and it hits hard.

Episode 65 of what not to buy.... Is this the attempt at a haggard garage style car audio channel??? Why the cheapest stuff on the market? isnt youtubes car audio section full of this content as is? Go from say 20 watts to 75 or so and notice the ifferance say from the pioneer or jensen 4 channels on the differant speakers.

It's called an engine support beam. And a transmission jack, which costs around the same, ~$80, would have made this job a lot easier. I'm about to drop the trans on a '92 to rebuild it so I've researched the hell out of it. No way around suspending the engine and dropping the subframe and all the rest. Not looking forward to it but it has to be done.

Water/coolant steam cleans the cylinders. I remember seeing a video where they tested sea foam vs water as motor treatment by spraying them on the intake/vacuum side. Water definitely beat seam foam.

I have mine hooked up to a 1200w @2 ohm 5 channel amp, i have 2 6.5 inch door speakers tuned to 60hz. I have these 6x9's tuned to 40hz and my subwoofer tuned to 27hz. Mine sound great and are quite loud in my single cab pickup

Also Dont crossover all the way down to 30 hz Itll leave alot of punch out I set mine usually around 55 or 70 , which on that would be over quarter less the half area

I have two of these for my door speakers and they seem to do just fine that'swhat they are made for but like I've got it very very serious being built for competition set up and the amps are the major cost that I havent upgraded yet im going from 4 amps to like 6 major amps but these little guys do fine just for regular speakers

Where you guys located?

With a single 4 ohm sub that amp is rated for 150 watts. So not a lot of power. You might be getting 100w or less. I'm guessing you were pushing it too hard and that's why it shut off. I think one of the best Walmart amps are the Power Acoustik Razer 2500. There is a new version rated for 1 ohm (dynoed about 800 watts at 1 ohm). I have the older version (dynoed about 650 watts at 2 ohm). I took some measurements and my 3 ohm sub measured 3.7 ohm (after impedance rise) and it was doing 250 watts without clipping. That's pretty impressive. Try that amp and if possible, wire two subs together so you have a 2 ohm load. I know that mixing and matching two different subs is not recommended, but it's fine on the amp and should be louder.

It looks like you are trying to bridge across the incorrect channels. With a 4 channel amp you can only bridge it down to 2 and only across the same " amp". If you look at it like 2 seperate amps, you should be bridging across the same amp and not across both. That amp isnt really powerful. Its decent but it really should be used for mids and highs. If you want to try again try it with the sub bridged across one channel and see if that helps. Im just going by what I saw in the video, I could be wrong. Also if you are using crossover controls on the head unit you shouldnt use the amp crossover. Leave it full range. Having used Pioneer since the 90s I believe that Pioneer is better than Jensen. Recheck the wiring and try again. Thanks for another fun video.
